If it is not quite off yet, add a pinch of bicarb. Doesn't work once it is actually sour though.

  • Hi All, as per title really. We have 12pints of milk, unfortunately hubby has been opening the wrong milk-ie.not the one that goes bad first!
As such,we now have loads of milk, with a date of today to use by.I know that it will keep for a couple extra days but 12pints is a lot to use in 2 days!

    any suggestions appreciated!

Sorry I have no idea hun, I usually throw mine down the sink but that's a lot to loose. Have you googled recipies there may be something you can make with it. If I am buying bulk milk I usually freeze a bottle as long as its in the plastic bottle its ok to freeze but it does take a long time to defrost.

Make scones. Lots and lots of them, and freeze them! Also drop scones/pancakes freeze well and should use up quite a bit of your milk.
