Freeze it? Semi skimmed certainly freezes fine.

yeah I'd like to drink it but it's nearly two litres so I don't think I could manage it.I prefer not to freeze it.I would rather make something with it.Does anyone have any recipes where you have to use a lot of milk please?

Lasagne - use the milk in the cheese sauce. This assumes you have the other ingredients required!
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

I would do as Bogof_Babe suggested and make white sauce or cheese sauce to freeze for when you need it in a hurry. What about rice pudding?

I find milk from supermarkets to stay fresh for some time beyond its use by date.Just taste it and see.Sour milk won't kill you,and you can use it in scones and soda bread.
  • For some reason I have a backlog of milk (full cream) this week and I don't want to waste it! Any ideas what to do with three pints on the cheap! Don't want to freeze it all, as my freezer will need to be stocked up on the weekend and I need the space!

    Thank you!
