No - Not a chanceRog, thats nothing - they now want to drill a hole in your wall to secure the ladders (H&S gone mad again).... I have a new build with textured render on it that crumbles at the sight of a drill - good job I was home when they came to install mine or i'd have charged them £15k for a new course of render (sandstone effect - sand render)......
I have learned though, through experience to just get them to install it and then sort the cables myself after they have been! On that note, do you remember the old Galaxy channel or Now channel?

I can remember the 'Penguin' channel. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Never said I was an old 'git' and I don't think I'm miserable - although I have always championed the minority. :whistle:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

True, but if you are going to post a SOA on here you have to expect that people will pick up on these things. After all a lot of people in debt do spend out a lot of money on things that they probably could happily do without.IWantToBeFree wrote: »I do think that sometimes people are just quick to churn out the standard responses without taking into account peoples personal circumstances and needs.
Again true, but if someone doesn't explain your personal circumstances in a SOA post how can the rest of us know these things. I have seen SOA posts where people have put a P.S. saying that they can't give up their car because of their job etc and that's fair enough. I wouldn't give up my online DVD rental subscription because it saves me a fortune, but I would expect people to pick up on it if I posted a SOA on here and didn't explain that!0
