Hi all,
I need some help and advise. I have got a very old (probably well over 12 years old) NOKIA 101 mobile phone. I saw this week's MSE weekly email and saw that I could get £3-50 from Mopay for any mobile phone. Unfortunately, when I go on the MOPAY site, I can't find the 101 in the model list and so I can't progress to the next page on web.
Does anyone have any ideas ?
Many thanks0 -
I tried to use the Mopay site to get the £3.50 but it doesn't seem to work - got as far as the confirm page and still no sign of the £3.50.It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

I've just used Mobile Phone Exchange. They are a complete con. They offered £19 and then said my screen was badly scratched (it was in excellent condition) and they would only give me £3. Then when i asked for my phone back they tell me that it will cost me £10 to get my phone posted back to me.
There are lots of complaints about this company on this site (which i should have checked before !) so can't understand why they are listed on this new tool !!!0 -
I was quoted £185 for an iPhone 3G 8GB on mobile phone exchange. The phone was sent back to them in a heavily padded envelope with a screen protector on the phone. I then receive an e-mail stating touchscreen has heavy scratching and the "quote" goes down to £131!0

Just for info guys, this post is only for comments / suggestions on the Mobile Phone Valuer tool.... not individual companies...
You are best posting your comments on the official Mobile Phone Xchange thread on:

Not allowed to post links but have seen some not great reviews of mobile phone exchange on another site0

Highly believable given you provide no evidence, proclaim no personal experience and haven't posted on this site before. bit like the representative from the company who appeared ONCE to wave the flag before being shot down in flames and making an equally rapid retreat.0

But eyescream71 wrote " but have seen some not great reviews of mobile phone exchange on another site" so why the sarcastic post?0 -
I stand corrected; for once you are quite correct. I also find it odd - as someone else pointed out - that there are many posts by people who appear for the first (and last) time on the site to attack the company in question. That's a curious thing in the other direction. However, I always err on the side of caution when there is bubstantial negative feedback and very little positive about an organisation.0
