We have already offered you compensation for your mistake as a gesture of goodwill but if you can email me again we can try and reach a compromise to draw a line under this.
You are still ignoring the question Ben !
    Please define "your mistake"

Mobiles.co.uk has never been involved with anyone called "Chris Brown".

All of the senior management team have been with the company in excess of 8 years and whilst we have experienced very rapid growth and some of the problems this can bring the small number of people with problems here is not representative of the tens of thousands of happy customers 2009 brought us, and the fact we are here should be seen as us trying to learn from any mistakes and improve the experience for everyone, no matter what certain people insist is the truth.

    Thanks for the feedback,

There we go again - really hard to believe the people who complain on here given all your "thousands of happy customers", isn't it?? I agree that you should be on here to "learn from" your "mistakes and improve the experience for everyone" though; a great shame you do the exact opposite!

    Chris Conwell?

Is he still involved, I can't believe he would be judging on your current feedback. I used them when they were in St Albans Rd, Watford.

The mobiles.co.uk of Mr Chris Conwell's era bears no relation to the mobiles.co.uk of Ben and co today!

At least Ben (himself a self proclaimed was factual (though far from helpful) when he took up his valuable time to make this reply:
Mobiles.co.uk has never been involved with anyone called "Chris Brown".

Given the grandiose biography Ben originally came here with, (though quickly decided to remove!), why couldn't he have helped when the wrong Chris was mentioned?
Biography: Here to answer questions from Mobiles.co.uk customers, as well as general mobile phone industry ones. Location: Watford. Occupation: Senior Manager

Maybe because no one cares what Chris this or that or what is....God so tiresome these threads.

    Why so arrogant?

You are free to ignore those you find tiresome. Clearly others were interested in "Chris" this or that, or they wouldn't have posted in the first place.
  • Perhaps there are people who care about which Chris owned the company at one time or another, But this is not why this thread was started, It was started due to some one wanting help and assitance, But as always these threads are taken up by people with other agendas.

If people want to continue there personal arguments with Ben and mobiles.co .uk, The start you own thread and don`t continue to take over other threads with this kind of chatter,

And before anyone tediously mentions i`m doing the exact same thing by going of topic, i`m well aware of it.

But as a fan and user of this forum, It`s tiresome how these threads become locked, and its not just Bens fault that this happens, No matter how just some people think they are, they are just as responsible at times.

You maybe missing the point. (In any case this thread has diverged for months since first posted in November).

The point was to point out that it was the mobiles "rep" Ben who had seized on the opportunity presented, but not to "help" over the query about "Chris", not to actually resolve the query, of course, but to boast about the "thousands of happy customers" they got last year!

It is this cynical manipulation of posts that Ben carries on doing in unmoderated forums that is the point!

The threads get locked because 3 guys in the main repeat their gripes with mobiles.co.uk, tending to bend the original post to fuel their ongoing vendetta with the company, and the mods take the view that the thread has either been corrupted from its original intent or that it has fulfilled its original purpose.

Now that is a shame, as the original points get lost with the distractions and, when a post is locked, the original poster is prevented form closing the post with the ultimate outcome of his problem and how - if at all - it is solved.

If I were Ben, I would not respond at all to any comments posted by his main antagonists as this fuels the fire and again detracts from the useful information in the threads.
