Mobiles.co.uk - A cautionary tale

  • ...Again, the tariff information for the tariff you ordered stated that it came with 600 minutes and unlimited texts. This is the deal you have and any inference or supposition you came up with based on reading O2's site cannot be blamed on us....
As previously stated, the information came from your website - 600 minutes, 500 texts and an unlimited bolt-on. This information was compared to O2's website.
If you intend to take us to court over the matter then I would ask that you email me again and refrain from posting about the matter until it is resolved
I replied to an email sent from another member of staff requesting further discussion - I am still waiting although I acknowledge there have been difficulties due to the weather. However, it seems the only way to get some action is to highlight the situation here; the ball is firmly in your company's court.
....and that you of course had the chance to return both handsets for a full and final cancellation within the 14 day period in effect at the time....
Although your staff stated that as the SIM had been used that was not possible; again, I didn't find out that the tariffs were wrong until O2 called me on the phones when the SIMs had been activated; unfair contract condition, perhaps?

    I'm awaiting your company's email/call.

    Regards,

    Wych

Isn't it remarkable how Ben's main presence on here seems to be to promote the company and shut up people who have problems - especially when they are contemplating court action!

Please report me to the MSE Abuse team every single time I promote the company, as per my sig.

As previously covered in excruciating detail, you are not helping when you jump into these threads with your witty asides and hilarious anecdotes.

As an existing customer with absolutely no demonstrated problems in your transactions with us I'd have thought you'd be less inclined to try and provoke a response from me, and seeing how every time you do step into a thread where I am trying to help it ends up closed perhaps you should consider your usefulness to the OPs?

WW - please email me so we can resolve this. I'm not sure who you're waiting on a reply from and I don't have your details to hand to try and find out, so please get in touch so we can come to a resolution as quickly as possible and get this matter dealt with. I do not wish to engage in a discussion here for obvious reasons.

As has been pointed out Ben, the threads that end up being closed are the ones you join in on ....the ones you don't join in on are left open ;)

I shall ask again as you have missed my post earlier ..........

    Please define "your mistake" Ben

  • I remember mobiles when it was owned by a guy called Chris Brown, I can't believe he's still involved, he was such a good guy to deal with.

    Regards,

I agree it's "hilarious" when (again) you try to shut your critics up, ignore the demonstrable problems I have put in front of your nose many times and the examples of your promoting the company are numerous and very revealing. Having been diverted from that tack you now concentrate on trying to bully people off when there's any chance they might actually WARN potential customers about your blatant dishonesty and lack of integrity. Not too much evidence on these threads of your "help" achieving much apart from creating more hostile customers (like Silk and Wychweird) who came on here when your private and normal channels ignored or refused them only to receive your usual dose of "concern" for you actual customers (like us!).

Then, of course, there are the dozens of times you have stated you will ignore me/Silk/Quentin and then immediately (like most of your actions and words) do the complete opposite. Keep up the good work portraying your company for what it now is!

Mobiles.co.uk has never been involved with anyone called "Chris Brown".

All of the senior management team have been with the company in excess of 8 years and whilst we have experienced very rapid growth and some of the problems this can bring the small number of people with problems here is not representative of the tens of thousands of happy customers 2009 brought us, and the fact we are here should be seen as us trying to learn from any mistakes and improve the experience for everyone, no matter what certain people insist is the truth.

    Thanks for the feedback,

Ignore this request from the rep.

There is no reason why you should "refrain from posting" here regarding your problem. (Unless you prefer them not to know your case till the summons lands on their mat!)

The rep seems to be implying (wrongly) that now you have mentioned court action it would be improper to use this forum for advice and instead you need to email him!
