• Yup.... and its a pain but for some reason I have fussy cats..... grrrrr I have the 2 and scoop 3 times a day and change litter every 2/3 days

Wilki's do really good cat liner trays btw, probably not mse but I hate the wash and rinse!

Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone ;)
• Nomoneymummy, you say you have fussy cats. Don't they like the clumping stuff then? Just that using that, you could eliminate having to empty the tray every two to three days..
• They've been fussy about the clumpy stuff, tbh it is the oldest cat thats fussy and she's quite outdoorsy apart from at night, if I use clumping stuff she comes and jumps on my head to wake me up to be let outside (no catflaps).

I'm prob going to be trying again soon as the emptying every 3 days is a bit of a pain!

Maybe try a wood-based clumping instead of a clay-based clumping? I think some of the paper ones clump too, but not hard like clay.

Hi we use the wooden pellets as they smell so much better most of the time and hide the poo smell better!! BUT i find the wee just turns ours to sawdust very quickly resulting in it needing to be fully changed quite a lot..do they all do this? which ones are good for clumping?
We had the cheaper granule stuff when we first got him but hated it..bits everyhwere and was just awful..this doesnt go everywhere.
We have the litter tray from P@H with the rim round it to stop bits flying and works well most of the time.
Also back to poo! what do you do with it? noticed someone bags it in the bin..why not down the loo?

Cats Best OkoPlus is wood-based and clumps very well, it's more like large crumbs than pellets. I'm afraid it does track across the flat quite a bit tho. I flush everything down the loo!

i use okoplus and i just get it from pets at home, you can probably get it cheaper online but you'd probably have to outlay quite a lot to offset delivery prices which puts me off tbh! the bag i got from there was £7something (i want to say £7.29 but i might be wrong) and that was enough for two large trays, one filled deeply. i had to get a second bag for top ups, but have been using it a week now and havent had to empty a whole tray, and still have just over half a bag left. i have two of the poop monsters and one has the runs so i think this its really good and quite economical! seems to smell less than pura too.

ETA we have one tray in the kitchen and one in the bathroom, the kitchen is carpet and the bathroom is tiled, it gets trodden into the carpet but sweeps easily off the bathroom floor.

that was me, cos i dont want to carry it upstais or round the house. at the moment the trays are in the hallway until we get the utility room done, then they are going out there.
so, i hold my breath, take the lid off, grab it in a bag, then run out the front door.
