Does seem odd that he has failed to negotiate any sort of fleet discount - may be the savings on offer wouldn't cover the admin? Any fleet petrol buyers out there able to shed light on the sort of discounts available?
    I think....

Of course there is a way to get 6% of all your petrol but I'm not sharing in case the loop hole is closed
You only get 6% of your petrol? What do you do with the other 94%?

I get 100% of my petrol and I'm sure most people on this board do too

Hmm, michaels, let me guess, is it something like this:-

Use an American Express Platinum Moneyback card (5% off)
Then use a Tesco Clubcard, Morrisons Miles Card, Shell Drivers Club Card, or Nectar Card for roughly a further 1% off

Hardly rocket science, or a loophole.

I've just got another email from them despite me unsubscribing from them on more than one occassion.

It is clear to me now that this all a big scam, no matter how honourable its original intentions may have been (or not).

I recommend everyone hit the 'spam' button on the email clients when they get this email to see if the ISPs get the hint.
  • If you've tried to unsubscribe and they haven't honoured it you should complain to their ISP and host. Hitting the spam button in clients such as Thunderbird and Outlook helps at a local level but doesn't stop others receiving the spam.

Anyone else get an email from Mr Scammell today? Got one from him this morning saying the Pipeline Card is making progress and that they are in discussions with 3 major supermarkets. Oh and he also included his link again to get "cheaper" gas and electricity.

Not me. Which I find surprising. He's normally not too reticent about sending emails advertising stuff that bear no relation to what the card was supposed to do.

Maybe I'm in the part of the run that 'didn't get the email' so that they'll have to 'redo the run and sorry to the people who get this twice..' like wot happened in October '07 .
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
