2,000 free tastelondon memberships for MoneySavers

I can't believe the amount of moaning going on about a great free offer. I agree with the people who say that no matter when how or why the promotion is run someone will miss out as the French say "c'est la vie".
I logged on at 12 and the site crashed so I kept going for 20 minutes and submitted my entry and was successful - yippee!
Living in Sheffield I can only use it about 3 times during the year but will give it to friends in London so they can also benefit (don't shop me anyone)!

You just had to keep trying....lets face it...its free...you have to put some effort into it....a few work colleagues got frustrated and two gave up and two continued and they were abel to get it.

A tip for users of the card especially on a friday....I got one last time this offer was available and and i have used it a couple of times without any hassle. At some restaurants especially on a friday they have at maximum two tables for tastelondon card holders..there is a limit on time you can spend at the restaurant. The limit is generally 1.5 hours for you meal. It is worth asking the resataurnat in advance if they impose a limit so you can plan ahead and not rush your meal.

Never mind..Hopefully my 3 month trial will be in the post. Will be able to see how much I make use of it before deciding whether to splash out on a full membership :j

Because the site went down they said they'd add an extra 2000 memberships to the promotion in a lottery so some of the people who entered their details later might not have been the first 2000 but one of the lucky lottery winners.

Still wasnt done on first come first served as I logged on at 12.25pm for other people as well and they haven't received one yet I know people that logged on at 7pm at night and got one!!!!!!!!!!

Did you read the post above?

The first 2000 were first come first served, the subsequent 2000 were a lottery.

You missed out this time, bad luck, but there's no point dwelling on it. Better luck next time.

Did everyone getan email response regardless? I think I missed a letter in my email address as I was trying to type so fast lol

haven't had anything from them and I know I put the email address in correct...assume I didn't get the annual as others seem to have been notified, but no acknowledgement or anything from Taste London...
