I tell you what, this thread has had me in stitches today. It's even better than the mattress debates where there is one user that goes bananas every time a Sealy Posturepaedic bed is mentioned!!!!
Ooh, the highs and lows of moneysavers!!!!!!0 -

Hi guys, I just emailed Taste of London and got the following email from info@tastelondon.co.uk
"Dear Gareth
Thank you for your email, GBK goes 'live' with tastelondon on Thursday. The offer will be:
50% off the total food bill, a maximum of 6 people can dine using 1 taste card
The offer will be Sunday - Thursday, all day and night
No bookings are required
Many thanks for your email
The taste team"
Worth it just for there!!!!!!!
You can get the same offer - except without any maximum number of people by joining the GBK gang (or something) on the GBK site, which is free. they send round offers all the time so I'd just do that, probably simpler to sign up for too. obviously if you want the discount at other places then my advice is a bit more useless0 -

I agree. The best way to judge a company is not by their mistakes but how they deal with them afterwards. I've now forwarded the link on to all my address book - 3 month memberships for free aren't to be scoffed at :beer:0 -

Not sure when they will close it down. I'm presuming that they'll keep it open for a while in lite of the server issues. Best bet though is to send the link asap and tell people to register now Id say.0 -

Agreed. With the recommendation I fully expect my friends to be paying for me for the next 3 months :rotfl:0 -

Totally agree. You cannot complain if its for free. Maybe they should offer 100% discount at all of the restaurants with a free 12 month membership as well for everyone who signs up before the year 3000. The only problem is someone will then want to complain about the quality of the food, waiting times between courses, no free taxi home at the end of the night etc.
Well done to Taste London. They have acknowledged their mistake and put it right in the best way they can.0 -
For those that don't get one, I am sure that very soon they will re do their offer for an annual one for £29.95. I bought that one and have been guaranteed that upon renewal it will remain that price. It really is worth it, I used it nearly once a week and now that GBK is on board I'm sure the hubby will use it more.
3 month trial is very good...so don't think people should complain!0
