  • 20 minutes of my life wasted ... still, worth a try I suppose
  • The server probably thinks it's a denial of service attack and has shut itself down!
  • It might have worked, if only people from the south east had tried to get one.. Ive noticed that some of the people complaining on here about not getting one, are from Derby, Coventry, etc

I'm used to buying Glastonbury tickets, so this is very familiar indeed! Managed to fill in the form, but I don't think it successfully submitted. Now for the F5 refresh mission.

It once took me 6 straight hours of refreshing and redialling to get Glastonbury tickets. You just need a little patience!

Yes, I agree - the first year that Glastonbury got really popular and the website repeatedly crashed it took some of our group 20 hours to get tickets, with just a small sleep in between!

I have no issue with Taste London, it's just 15 minutes out of my life where I tried to get something for free but didn't. It's no big deal and no reason to get upset.
  • Did anyone actually get to add their details?
I tried at 12 noon and it didn't work and the website seems to have crashed!!

Do you mean you managed to submit it completely or did the connection time out after you managed to fill in the form?

    I submitted it completely!
  • Christ, stop moaning you ungrateful !!!!!!s! You may well get a brilliant freebie yet - just persevere a little.
  • Yep, been resubmitting for the past 19 minutes. I would stop but we eat at a lot of the restaurants covered (usually with a voucher) so I'm sat here like a mug :D

Exactly - some people always want to blame someone for something...

Yet another dubious promotion by Taste London to harvest email addresses - wouldn't trust them further than I could throw them!

What they don't seem to understand is that treating people like this is actually damaging their 'brand'.
