Saving up for a pair of red leggings.... might have to add that to my signature!! Nail technician does sound a bit poncy but it's either that or nail bird. And that sounds even blo0dy worse!! Apparently I do have to do massage too. Woo woo. Gonna be fun learning that!!

As for the FT job Chris, gonna keep that a secret for now! What about you? And !!!!!! ('scuse my language!) is a rotator cuff?!

Anywho, I'm off to carry on cheating at this 10k thing ;) (although not gonna earn any dollars this evening. I'm not that kinda girl!!)

Kitty - i just sold a snowboarding coat on ebay for £52 yesterday. Couldn't believe it!!! :D

Ouch - hope the shoulder gets better soon, I suffer from long term pain in that area following a car accident so you have my sympathies.

Right, anything ebayed between now and the new year is going towards my total. I could always keep the cash in my savings account until January 1 as the cards are all 0% at the moment anyway. :rotfl:

  • Afternoon All,
Bar work at the weekend didn't exactly go as planned, got a text from the boss sat morning saying they only needed me for 3 hours. I called him and asked why as he had originally he said that there would be at least 2 eve shifts and days at weekends. He said that they only needed me for a couple of hours a week at most as he wants to keep lots of staff on the books?! When I told him I needed more than that, he suggested I go elsewhere:mad: So spent the weekend sorting out stuff to ebay and tryiing to find another job - no luck so far, but am sure something will come up. Am also thinking about getting a different full time job as mine is so low paid. I took it because it's recession proof and I was fed up with being made redundant, but it meant a £15k pay drop, which I'm now finding hard to make any progress with. Anyhoo, back to calling all the local pubs!!
    xx

  • Oooooh count me in!!

Clearing around 10k would be half our debt and it would mean hubby could leave the army in 2012.

I so badly want to be out of debt!!

Hi gem, we all want to get there so looks like it's going to be a journey full of friends!!

    Chris
Hope that rotator cuff thing gets better. Sounds pretty nasty, hope you're feeling better now. Get yourself a bit of hot water bottle and some TLC eh? :D You weren't trying to do any of those crazy lifts that the beautiful Ricky Whittle was doing at the weekend on Strictly come dancing were you? If you were, it'll be worth getting through the pain. What a man he is!! Awesome. Anyway, I digress!

A design project engineer - what sort of stuff do you design? or Engineer? And yep you rumbled me, I am indeed in the police. Must work on my lying and secret skills more. Ah well, guess it's pretty anononononononymous on here....;) The nail tech thing is gonna help this challenge though. There's no OT at the moment!!

Is there anyone else cheating on here other than me and 'so here we are'? The stuff I sold on ebay will go towards the virgin card once it clears.... damn banks....
