£700 a month is a monsterous amount, some people only earn that.
I know! Trust me, its a big chunk of my income, but pulling it out from under myself a the begining of the month seems to be the only way to keep it from getting spent!Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Hi all, I was going to hold off until 30th to declare, but as I have no money left it doesn't look like I'll be making any more savings this month.
My chances of saving £10,000 this year have been scuppered by the decision to buy a new car and take advantage of the scrappage scheme. So it looks like I shall have to say £10k as a mixture of savings for my house deposit and paying off the car debt.
So just £700 in total for me this year.
Keep up the good work everybody xxx
