Just done another weekly shop for £10, so transferred the extra £50 that I would normally spend to my pot. I'm using up a load of stock from my freezer shopping this cheap, but it did mean I could get a cheap bottle of wine for tonight too!
  • I'm getting impatient now..............I really want to update my signature to show how much I'm paying off.......I'm feeling left out, you're all doing so well!

I've decided to wait until I get paid in two weeks before making any extra payments (DH reckons I might need new tyres before the end of the month......there's always something!)

Just transferred £100 from paypal to my bank account, that would normally have been frittered away buying more stuff I don't need on ebay!!
    Total debt at LBM £26k+
    Total debt now £16,494.40
    Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £0

    Hi all!

I'm a bit out of the loop now, I couldn't find where the thread had moved to. It's so sad but I reall felt lost for a minute but savingmummy came to my rescue!

Hope everyone's good - I'm not doing so well, my car cost me £150 and one of my dogs cost me £180! Then neither of my helen e parties came off because of the weather.

I havent totted up my regular DD payments off my debt yet tho, once I do that at the end of the month I'll feel much better!

Jellicat - do you want to post up an SOA or something in case we can help with some extra savings while your hours are tight?

Fingers are crossed for you that it'll sort itself out

Can i count the money i have payed towards debt too in my total to 10,000? As i am saving yet paying off debt at the same time. Have payed off £200 in debt already this year.
MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different
  • I would say so yes, I made £72 today my first day on the 10k challenge but then I spent it paying off a Next catalogue balance, but I still made it and as its unlikely I will be able to keep all money made in the 10k challenge til end of year I guess its ok to use it for helping get out of debt along the way?
