So far i have 6 more weekend shifts booked in with the last being on 23rd january. I must ring every week (friday always seems to be a good day to phone), to get more shifts, they only let out shifts for a few weeks in advance, so i must must ring every week, as the money i am earning from my job is all going to the debt.0

Right I can't stand it anymore, have had to update sig. Just renegotiated my phone and broadband contracts, and this will save me £173.76 over 2010 :jso I've included it in my total as the extra £14.48 every month will automatically go to my overdraft, or cc when OD cleared (I hated seeing that big fat ZERO

Just seeing that some people are counting savings made on purchases and bills etc. Are you counting that as you have made a theoretical saving that you otherwise would have spent or are you only counting it if you have banked/utilised the saving.
ie I just ordered a present at RRP £20 reduced to £6 in a sale. Should I count a £14 saving or only if I actually bank £14 in my savings. Does that make sense?
What's the consensus?Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -

Boomdocker - I would count it if I banked the saving or if as peetzil says that saving will mean you're going less overdrawn so in effect paying towards that debt. I guess it's totally your call though!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
I'm only counting it if I actually put the money 'saved' into my pot....but thats because I'm doing the challenge to save 10k.
Being sinful and having a big night out tonight - hopefully will manage not to spend too much!0 -
