I'm still waiting on the post to deliver my wage slip from my 2nd job, the money is in my account, but it seems like I've been paid too much (I've been paid just over £900). I'm hoping I worked it out wrong, & I get to keep it all. If it is right then it looks like I could of had a day off over the next couple of weeks as I'm only working my 2nd job & doing 75 hours a week as I'm on holiday from my main job, but at least it will be some more towards my 10k

    lamarsi enjoy the break! :j

Our school got closed at 10.30 today but we had to wait until 3.30 before all the children were collected. Home now and just found out that school is closed tomorrow.

Although i do symapthise to all parents previously posting who needs kids to be at school so they can work it's very exciting for us sad old teachers. Ha! :rotfl:

No debts paid today but another NSD and bids made on ebay items so still feeling positive. A day at home tomorrow means no spending and more listing too. After all my school work obviously.

Keep up the good work, so nice to hear how supportive a bunch you all are! :T

    I really should check online banking before I post . . .

£118.75 to be added to total as payment has gone out for artwork we bought before Xmas!

6 months interest free credit, though it was a luxury item. :o

Plus OH has made £75 on his credit card. So proud. Added that to total too as counting joint debts.

right guys i need help and/or info
got my online lecky bill today (i forgot to check emails before now) to find that since i had my new meter fitted i am in credit to the tune of £191 and pence, also my monthly DD has gone down to £35 from £58 a month, :j:j:j i will put the £23 im not used to in the pot, promise
now....can i request that money back or dont they do refunds :confused:
i also have a suspicious feeling that my gas will be in credit, but not as much as the lecky, coz back end of last year i started properly to become a tightwad :D
luckily my things think its great to read with a torch in bed and in their "dens", instead of the light.
also since the snow i have relented and put the heating on more, taking off more layers, to reveal, im not that fat, it was just layer upon layer that i was wearing made me look big:rolleyes::rolleyes:, damn it i coould have had that 2nd helping of xmas pud after all :D:D
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Webitha - I'm not sure if it depends on the company but I've had a refund in the past from npower. I was in credit after last quarter too but as they crazily changed my direct debit from £89 to £9 a month I decided not to ask for a refund this time in case I then owed them after a cold winter! Hope that helps!

im with BGas, and they changed my meter to a digital on, apparently the old one was the original on when the house was built, so waaaaaay over charging me, now its at the correct charge.
should i ask for it all back or just about £150 leaving the other £40 in credit just in case

Leave it, these days a decent company will offset the credit balance agaisnt a lower direct debit payment. Check it in 6 months time and if still in credit tke the cash but remeber to adjust your DD up a little to account for having a ZERO balance. I have been managing my gas and elec and water like this for two years and for a family of 6, our three DD's amount to just £75 pcm.
Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
Did smoke- Not any more (26-02-11):j
I am not perfect but everyone loves a trier don't they??:A
