  • Chriscjc2002, I have started reading your post, and would love to join your 10k in 2010 challenge, I have about 33k in credit card debt. So have worked out if I can clear 10k in 2010, 11k in 2011 and 12k in 2012, then it will be clear by the time I am 40. Please can you add me to your list. I can't wait to get started now.
    Make £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£310

Just want to echo a question raised earlier, so the payments I make every month anyway count towards the £10k?? or is it only the additional pennies?

I am going to take into account my mandatory payments too. Although I haven't £10k of debt, I want to clear the debt that I do have and start to either pay off the mortgage or get some serious savings or even better, both! I have also been a bit 'naughty' and started this challenge already...:o:D... however I figure that I may save myself a few extra pounds in interest by doing that :D and that's the aim! Get rid of the dreaded cards so that I can really start living my life!:j

    Hope this helps!

Glad to hear everyone had a good christmas :D

I am not perfect but everyone loves a trier don't they??:A
  • I'm including my normal payments as well which means I should be able to knock about £4,500 off my £10k. Sounds good to me but that still leaves £5,500 to find *gulp*

    Roll on the first :T
