Roll on the first :T
i too am including my normal payments, and i just worked out that to clear all my debt, i would need to pay and extra £12 per day, every day, on top of usual payments, which sounds a bit more managable, than £363 per month (even though it the same) :rotfl::rotfl:, but that is just for the debts and not the savings part lol.
what i am going to do, is pay it off every 3 months, so save the money in a pot or something, then every quarter into the bank and then pay it off iyswim, so i could only be 4 payments away from debt freedom, see this challenge is getting easier :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
just got to find that £12 a day now:D:D
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Hi
well i've been looking around the forums and decided that for me there are 2 others which will help me focus on doing this. The first is The Itemiser where you basically work out what your debt paid for and then pay it off an item at a time, so finally you know that you own the things that you look at every day. Secondly I'm going to sign up for the Payment a Day challenge, which encourages you to make a payment no matter how small. As they say every little helps.
Good luck everyone. Janey0 -
the itemiser sounds good although my memory is so rubbish i'd never manage to do it personally good luck though!get rid of all the pounds by summer !!

Have just sat down with my DH and gone through the 'budget planner' - we were sitting all smug when the figures came out as 'congrats you have balanced your budget, you spend LESS than you earn' when we realised that we had put our food and fuel bills down as weekly amounts but in the 'monthly' column - arggggg that put us firmly back in the red :-( however, we went through every single item again and managed to shave bits off here and there, so that we are now £5 per month in the black - Hurrah!!! Goodness only knows how I will manage 10K on top of that lot, but I am a trier ( yes my OH says I am very trying) LOL!!! Think I will try the Payment a Day challenge as well, it sounds good - thanks Janey xCC 1 Halifax £4350(4.9%)CC 2 MBNA £6260 (5.4%)CC 3 Barclaycard 8500(0%)CC 4 Tesco £2500O/D £3000:eek:0
