    Well done loumac.

I've made some more payments as it was payday a week ago. I'm looking to try and pay £700 off Virgin this month rather than the optimistic £1100 I dreamt about in post #1381. But will def be gone by Christmas.

I've also recently secured myself a new job at work - not a promotion unfortunately. I did go for the promotion but they offered me a sideways move instead. Still hoping to negotiate a small increase on my current salary though which will help over the coming months.

    Hi all

Not sure if you remember me as I disappeared, but back in the day at the start of the challenge I was on here a lot.

But sadly I've had about the worst year of my 27 years and so getting rid of my debts has been the last thing on my mind. I'm proud to say that I haven't gained any more debt though.

Anyway, I used to find this forum really supportive so I'm back in the hope that some of the old timers are still on here and that support's still on offer...

  • Hi everyone,

Gosh, I haven't posted here in a while (mainly as I've had lots of other payments to make...sadly not towards my savings) but this month I have managed to put £400 away. Great stuff. Should hit my (reduced) target by the end of the year and will carry on adding to it.

£1,000 into savings this month - loft works has started, so savings dwindling enormously!

Well at 29 I don't want to be considered an old timer, but have definitely been here from the start of the thread and support is always on offer. :D
