Good Morning Everyone and Happy Easter! :j
I was awake at 6 this morning because I forgot to switch my bodyclock off lol, so ive spent the morning updating my spreadsheet and moving money around :T. This month has been quite pants, I did a credit card shuffle and the fees cost me about £200 but will save me more in the long run. The upshot is that Ive only paid off £255.29 this month, but its still more than I would have done before this challenge, and Its all going down so Im happy. You're right peetzil39 and claire123 it has been a bit of a slog this month.
Hope work isn't too stressful for long Shady and well done everyone, its great to see that our totals are going down whether its by small or large amounts :T:T:T.

Hi Sally,
I need to do the same. I have got loads to add but just lacking the motivation. Need to get my mojo back!Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -
Morning all,
It's been very quiet around here of late but I've still been checking in and as always the total updates motivate me more!
My direct debits have now gone through giving me a combined total for savings and debt clearance of £4123.18.
I'm also excited because we only have two more payments to clear one of our debts below. However, I do need to pay my honeymoon off next month and haven't saved enough yet so am debating about paying the rest on my 0% credit card.
Plus we have just rehomed an ex racing greyhound so she's already being spoiled which means more money is being spent than normal!
Keep up the good work everyone!!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Woo Hoo! I finally get to move some money around. March was a hella long month.
So £280 car repayment and £300 house savings makes a payment of £580 for me for April and £2160 in total this year.
Hope you all had a good Easter xx
Finally a Homeowner 04.10.13 :j

Well, I have been away from these boards for quite sometime and well I'm back. I originally signed up for this challenge and was doing really well and fell off the wagon but i have been plodding along as and when. You could say i have had a second (or third or fourth) lightbulb moment
My signiture is up to date so thats what i want to achieve now.
My first goal is £5500
Then I want at least £5100 in my ISA, so wish me luck

Sally and Boomdocker, you should! I have made several hundreds over the years selling bits and bats (mainly clothes/DVDs/cosmetics etc) all stuff that's mine and I don't need/want anymore.
I set myself mini goals, say make £50 which helps as it gives me something to aim for and then beat with my next target! Good luck!
April so far- added £15.47 to my savings from ebay earnings. Partly to make up to a round numberand partly as I needed to transfer some money out of paypal to cover fees and postage as I always pay these from my current account. Transferred £35 out and have left the rest in to pay for all costs I've had over past couple of weeks.
Probably won't have much more to add until the end of April which should hopefully take me to 3k woop.
New mini challenge will be £50 but I am slowly running out of things to sell lol.
Hi to all and good luck for April! :T0 -
welcome back SHWA and good luck
welcome along princess lou :hello:congratulations on your first post, its definitely not too late to join, are you going to go for the full 10K? Shadydaz usually does the admin and hands out the numbers, if I remember right he's still reading the thread but I think he's busy with work etc so he's not updating much at the moment. In the meantime why don't you tell us a bit about yourself?
Claire Im definitely going to use your idea of mini-challenges, thanks hun :A. I go on holiday at the end of april for a few days and my aim is to raise at least £150 but hopefully £200 in spending money, I already have £30 winding its way from paypal so only £170 left!
Glad this thread is picking up a bit more now cos Its my favourite and the most motivational

p.s. did you know if your a private seller on eBay you can only list 100 'no listing fee' items (i.e. starting price of 1p-99p) per month from now on, read it last night on their site, so I'm thinking I might challenge myself to listing that much each month??
