Proud to have dealt with my debts
  • Yay! It's pay day tomorrow so I can take a reading on where I am on my OD... I've paid off £487 this month :) I might be counting my chickens though as I think one of my larger bills hasn't come out yet so next month I might have a nasty shock but even then I will still have paid off a fair bit. I also get my bonus tomorrow and the first thing I'm going to do is pay off TV loan in full!!!
I'm feeling sooo enthusiastic about this month and next month now. I think I may even manage to halve my OD next month which is something that would have seemed completely impossible before I started this challenge :)
  • hi all

Just checking in but will do a full post tomorrow - totals are looking good everyone, I'll be adding to that tomorrow - not as much as I'd hoped though, suffered somethin of a money spending relapse but will expand tomorrow..

  • Just called up and cleared my TV loan :) I'm sooo happy. I know it was my smallest debt but it's one more thing not comming out of my bank every month.

I've also done a bit of calculation and worked out that I need to pay about £834 per month in order to make my £10k target. That means that this month I should be on £1,668 and actually I'm on £1,814. I'm £146 ahead of myself :)
I love my calculator right now :) lol

Well done to everyone else. I'm a bit in aw of how well some of you are doing!

    Hi Guys,

Hehe you are not alone, I do things like that too.

Update from me... payday today so another £362 to add to my total, taking it to £2100 (yey!) I have finally increased into the 2s and I actually added an extra £2 to make it even :rotfl:

Shadydaz I bet we will get an influx of replies this weekend as it should be payday for many of us.

I am also pleased that I don't have as much to pay out over the next few months which is fab. I have been so down on my savings due to weddings, hendos, Christmas and the rest.

Well done to those who are saving away!

There are also probably quite a few other people like me who only update their totals at the end of each month so I'd hope to see lots posting over the weekend and early next week. As for me I'll post my final Feb update on Monday but it looks like I had a better month than January (unless I go spending mad over the weekend :D) and should be over £1k for the month.

Great totals starting to appear on this thread. Congrats everyone, very inspiring stuff.
