  • Hi everyone,
Update time, my total for this month is £509.63, bit less than Jan, but not so much ebaying going on and my motivation has slipped a bit. Did make £21.99 from Music Magpie to add though, never used them before. Will have to try harder....... sounds like my old school report card :(

Just another £25 from me towards the cc.
I've been paid today but most of my direct debits go out over the weekend. :( Want to be in the £2k mark!

  • Hi all, Loumac is was aiming for 2k as well but have missed by a mile!

Shady was starting to worry about you being missing in debt busting action!

My total for this month is £744.16 but i've shelled out for a few things for work which they now owe me for, so im going to add those too (£169.70) which brings my total up to £913.86.

Im working for my parents this weekend so hopefully I will be able to add some more but next month is going to be a killer, its my Oh's birthday, I have a few big bills coming out and I backed my car into a bollard (woops!) so that needs repairing.

On the plus side I went to a retirement party last night and allowed myself £50 spends but only actually spent £8.15!

Hope everyones doing okay, just off to update my sig and look for my motivation!

:j  :j Ha! That's inspirational. I'm out tonight for a friends birthday. My OH is driving, we've found a voucher for a free drink and a voucher for £5 off the bill so I'm taking the £20 I've earnt from 1:1 tutoring this morning and am crossing my fingers that's enough. :D

Been an absolutely rubbish month for me, loads going out - car tax (£120), cat vaccines and supplies (£81), hair needed doing (£70), invested in slow cooker (£30 - worth it though), car service and repairs for hubband's car (£231). Upside, manages to put a lot on 0% credit card. Downside, the debt has not reduced at all.

Managed to reduce o/d today by £300, but still overall means I am only slightly ahead of where I was a month ago.

Anyway declaring £108 for February in total :(

Well done to everyone else though, sorry for letting the side down

It's not about letting the side down, it's about doing what's manageable for you! It's better than increasing the debt! Keep your chin up! x

I love my calculator! I've just looked through my online statements and realised I've put an additional £561.38 into savings since starting this challenge.

I know I should be paying off debt with that but I'm determined to have a honeymoon this year so any money I've not spent out of my allowance or things like council taxes that we've not paid have gone into different savings accounts instead. This is normally we'd normally have just frittered away so I'm now going to count that towards my 10k. Hope that's ok!

    Off to update sig...

Cheers Loumac, although I can't help but be disappointed with myself.

Congrats on upcoming wedding, feel free to tell us about it:T, I'm recently married and love hearing about all things wedding related. Any thoughts on where you might go on honeymoon?

  • I've totted up my totals for this month I managed to pay off £821.98 Although I've realised that my mortgage payment didn't come out on time so I only really paid off £510 :(

My goal for next month is to get my O/D under £1,000 I'd best get eBaying.
