Aww, that's so cute that they are so excited! Have you done the Santa video that was on Martin's email? We haven't yet, but some people have at work and said the kids were in total awe!!

Finally got the wrapping done tonight, nails are totally wrecked but its all done!! I had just enough paper too..a first for me as I usually have at least two rolls unopened at the end.

Had to jig DH along with beer, but now its all wrapped and back in the loft, so can make the most of the hols now.

I did the santa video Macgirl, ...I got carried away and did one each for my two, and also one for my nephws and nieces too...its amazing!! My eldest is just turned nine, and even he was impressed!!

Tomorrow we are making more muffins , and more xmas cookies...they don't last long here. Looking after a friends little boy in the morning, then going to drop of a present to a friend. Then going to tea at Mum's. Yumm

Fruit and veg is being delivered and DH is off to pick up the turkey etc and all done.

Fruit and Veg here.....looks fantastic and fresh. Have left DH in bed , as he is on lates tonight , and looked shattered last night,

So plan is...

do quick final shopping list, (DH can get last any bits when he goes to the butchers)

xmas cookies and choc muffins

quick hoover and dust

mop kitchen floor...three small boys baing is going to be messy.

then deliver pressie and off to mums

Also...need to look what films are on as need a lovely xmas one for tomorrow evening.

So all done in Chops' house......butter for the turkey in the fridge...so just veg etc to prep tomor morning.

Aiming to have done the veg , pigs in blankets and stuffing by 9 tomorrow...then taking the boys to see santa to adventure playground thing all day. Home and !!!!!! for tea.

The boys were so excited and so pleased with their presents. :j I think they were more impressed with the Santa tracking and when we sprinkled the reindeer food on the lawn they are convinced they saw Santa...I was not sure either way...DH said it was a Chinese lantern....perfect timing.:santa2:

I have refrained from the sales...feel proud but more due to eating and drinking far too much and not wanting to not be able to zip up a dress in a changing room, than MSE reasons.

Got a big night out on New year so going to be really good now. OH worked xmas night and tonight and I have given him loads of chocolates to take, stops me eating them!!:silenced:

Just won £12.50 on bingo Britain...so transferred that over to bingo wins account.

I've managed to stay away from the sales so far - but chocolate is another matter entirely.....
Well done on the BB win too. I've only won a tenner since I started playing for OH :rolleyes:

Went out last night and only spent 60p...as baby sitter was ill so DH couldn’t come, and as he was on nights I was home by half ten (drove). So cheapish night, spent £20 on the present, as was for a wedding, we all chipped in.

Not doing much today, waiting for hubby to get up, and then think will be doing a couple of runs to the tip and then take the boys to the park or for a walk on the beach. I am still not dressed...I need a spare bedroom for him to sleep in when he works nights!

I need to pop to town to get some birthday presents, and I am also going to attempt to buy birthday cards for family and friends from now until May, as there are no decent card shops in the village I live in, and will mean I have less excuses to go to town this year to waste money. I really want a nice dress for new year, but I am not getting one, I have dresses in my wardrobe..I think I shall just borrow some jazzy shoes of younger trendy sister and a bag. I feel like I have piled on the weight over xmas...I have had two and a half weeks off work already with the quality sweets!!

Need to take the extending bit out of the table and put the dining room back to normal.


I also have an old running machine, well its only a year old and it jumps, do you think I can sell it on eBay if I explain it has a fault....so sell it cheaper???

Need to get my but on the new one too....
