hmm the christmas eve looney is usually me!!

My OH is working most of christmas, so we have the week before off together...so I am determind to be organised and not to be falling asleep in asda at helf eleven desperately searching for goose fat!!! ( I am sure they hide the stuff).

The plan is the time we have off together as a family will be restfull, calm and festive...I shall sashy in looking stunning with yummy food on trays like a domestic godess!!!! ( or more like red faced, harassed and frizzy haired with soggy sausage rolls!!)

Ohhh just remembered I did ne MSE thing today...didn't get in until late, and really wanted chip shop for tea...but whipped up a prawn stirfry instead.

Feel very smug but have to admit was more of a watching the waist pounds than the money pounds thing that swung the stirfry!!

Today I am at ome so lots to do

* housework
* sort out ironing mountain
*check cupboards and freezer and then do shopping list
*post uk xmas cards
* school christmas fayre
*my hair cut and coloured

Ahh so lots to do, but I m at work tomorrow, out friday night, and have to go to town to get last few xmas bits on sat, and then DS1 and me at Panto on sunday (free through work)............so best move it!!

I can'r beleive it, we have someone comming to view our house on sataurday.....so plans out of the window!!!

Not sure wht to think, as had resigned myself that would not be moving this year and we only really left the house on the market so not to loose the HIB thing.

If we sell , could clear all our debt, but would only leave a tiny deposit?? Ahh I am so confused

hmm but I supose they might not eve want to buy it!

My 02 cashback has finally tracked, sothats another £100 comming this way in January.

DH has been paid an extra £600 Bonus this month , so after tax thats another £350...so that can pay for any extra over xmas and nights out. So I am looking forward to it.

Also ran out of potatoes today, so I have checked in my food shopping budget, and the lass sack I bought was over five weeks ago, so I am pretty chuffed with that.

Got lovely sack of potatoes from the farm, so going to be doing some healthy jackets for lunched this week.

Another busy week for me this week, thankfully I have finished work now, so going to swap DS1 and DS2 bedrooms round, DH says we can get DS1's new room painted within a day...and his new bed built tomorrow...hmmmm not sure I am convinced but shall give it a go.

My house is looking lovely and clean, just got to wash all the windows inside this week then it just leave the basics for next week. I am getting in the christmas spirit now xx

Hello I have a big list of things to do tomorrow...and I shall get them all crossed off.

I am a bit of a list-a-holic, nothing beats that feeling of getting to cross things off when done!!!

Number one job is to get my turkey ordered!!! I have never left it this late before so best get a move on.

Just read your diary, you seem to have everything under control!, As for christmas next year, why not join the Sealed Pot Challenge 3, this could help towards paying towards presents etc, just a thought HTH and Good Luck

Thanks sparky, I shall check it out. I have allocated some money a month to go towards xmas next year..but this could also help. I am so determind that next year I will have lots of savings for xmas and then I can enjoy december instead of fretting over the overdraft!!

:j:j:j I have won £15 on BB this morning...y:jippeee!!!! So with the drunken £5 I won on friday night that is £20 this week. I have deposited and withdrawn so it will be hitting the bingo account soon.


Got a few bits done today, but really want to put washing away but can't really as still mid swap of boys rooms...hopefully we shall be all done by 5pm tonight when mum is bringing them home. I can't wait to see their little faces.

Managed to get a flat screen tv for DS1'S new room free , my aunty had one spare and gave us it. Its almost new, and means it will take up less space...so another suprise for him there.

Still not ordered the blomming Bird...at this rate shall be watching Emmerdale for poaching tips off Zac Dingle!!

Will nip to butchers today keep saying this I know!! Also need to get two tins of sweets for school. x

Ahh well the plan for getting the boys rooms swapped by 5pm were slightly unrealistic....finally finished at 9.30......little DS went to sleep in our bed and then was transfered later!!

Still got lots to do though, but hopefully get it done before lunch tomorrow. Big DS was so pleased with his new bed and said he feels so grown up. Pleased as he was a little upset tonight, christmas disco and he had girl trouble , he is only 9:eek:.

So tomorrow:

*Hoover and dust upstairs
*swap boys clothes over
*put folded washing away
*hoover and dust downstairs
*mop floors
