Its cold wet and raining here too chops, don't want to leave the house but better take kiddies to school and go to work. I'm just finishing my porridge then better put some slap on my face, don't want to scare the children at work:rotfl:.

Hope the casserole tastes better than it looks, i'm sure it will be fine.

Hmm casserole was actually lovely, and I am pleased I just had to come in an do the mash...so much quicker..and no time to have a snack! :A

I did spend today, got a jacket potato from work for lunch, it cost £2, but if I had eaten the soup I had taken , it would have been a NSD!! Also bought some snakes for my desk at work for a £1 , had forgoten them!!

All accounted for in the spending book I keep in my bag.

This week I hae £67 for housekeeping...and I have managed to stick to it. Spent £42 on food and about £8 on cleaning stuff. So after the boys clubs and money they took for children in need fun day, I hae used the lot...but not gone over!!

We have also eaten really well...pork casserol, chicken curry, Roast beef dinner, shepheards pie (from left over beef)...so I am really pleased.

So this means I have the full £100 budget for shopping next week:T

Hi just wanted to say hello!

Perhaps looks at the £10 a day challenge as a way of making extra money so you can still pay more off the debt while also building up an emergency fund!

If you post an soa http://www.makesenseofcards.co.uk/soacalc.html then you might also get some constructive feedback on where you might be able to change your spending. I found it very helpful...

Thanks SH I shall certainly take a look at the £10 a day thread, and I know I need to post a SOA...its just a bit scary!!

I have had laptop trouble, so not been able to get on here for ages.. I have been having to pre buy my bingo tickets every time I go to my mums, so as not to lose my bonus. I have one a couple of fivers, and also shared a house, so got another £7 this morning and alo got a line so today I have pocketed £12.

Managed to sell some toys, so thats another £20.

Other than that not much debt busting. I think I am going to chuck myself into it full force in January. I have completed the majority of my xmas shopping, and got a lot of money through top cashback.

This week is choca block with kids activities...choir, plays, school fayres the lot...so going to do a meal plan and also pencil in some must do exercise....also got to do an extra day at work so going to be a busy week.

Just got home from school concert ...the second one of the day. DS1 was the star of the show, and had everyone in stitches. His teacher wants him to sgn up to an acting club bless.. SO PROUD

DS2 also the star of the show...mainly cause his shepherds tunic was reqularly lifted up thus flashing his undies at the audience!! He is a monkey!!

No bingo wins today...and I must admit I am getting slightly addicted....I...so want to win at least a big £50 before my 30 days!!

Have been rubbish, and not been keeping a spending diary, so housekeeping dosh day tomorrow and a I am going to be 100% filling it in.

I am also going to add up every peny I have spent on xmas...so I know exactly what to aim for next year.

Really feel that the last week and a half I have let things....well everything slide...so full throtle tomorrow.

Going to do a shopping list and stick to it...I have not been very MSE LATELY.

Hi chops, yes i do feel valued most of the time, just now and again i wonder why i bother:rolleyes:, Can't wait until next Friday when we break up:j.

Seems like your doing great at the moment, i need to sort myself out and start a list for what food i need over christmas so i can start getting stuff in, instead of running round like a looney on christmas eve.
