    Which is when?
    Not long after Christmas...

Cauliflower cheese made. Had to use wholemeal flour as I've no idea where the plain is, but the wholemeal needs using anyway. Washing dry... only one more load to go  My mother's christmas present has been ordered (she wants linen face towels, as they're small and light for travelling with, so that's nice and easy). I need to do my sugarpaste order (just trying to work out how many/what size boards I need to get), plus a stair rope.

I've just had a thought... I was going to get some window film for the back door, but I might just double-glaze it (it's a tiny window) with sandblasted glass instead. Better put it on the list for the builder :D

I've got lots of potatoes from last weekend, as my parents didn't take them away with them. I don't generally eat potatoes, so I'm trying to decide what to do with them. I suppose if I boil them I can use them instead of pasta in my salads at lunchtime...

Better go and have a sort out in the fridge and try to work out what to eat this week. Plus cook something green to go with the cauliflower.

I mean it I really do

When the weather is dull in November and you are doing your ironing they bring a huge grin to your face. Loads of people in the world can sing but not nearly as many can entertain and to make my iron mouth turn up at the corners is not mean feet!

I love the way they are loathed too, and live in their own little world.

    Ironing awaits.

    Evening all,

We went to pick up OH's new ( to him ) car today, as we were driving home OH put his window down and it wouldn't go back up again , he managed to get it back eventually but it's not right and will have to go back on Monday so they can sort it out. Apart from that it's lovely.

Ds2 is asleep and Ds1 is at a sleepover so my house is really quiet, even the psychotic Rabbits are quiet. I could get used to this, although OH is coming over later so it won't last long.

I'm really annoyed with OH's ex.:mad: Dsd2 who's 16 is a 12/14, she's got a big build so will never be skinny but is in no way fat. OH's ex is getting married next year and has told DSd2 that she's too fat and needs to get to a size 8 before the wedding because that's what size she's buying the dress in.:mad::mad::mad: Honestly i could kill the woman.

    My Extras

    1. Ebay have packed & posted 6 / 6
    2. Update Xmas SS & Wrap 13 done so far this week
    3. Deal with post I've started this
    4. Sort toy corner
    5. Update spending SS
    6. Clean out dead car
    7. Pick up parcel
    8. Pay CC bill
    9. Clear ironing basket
