  • Morning lovelies – hope everyone is ok. Very foggy here today, sat at work – not impressed but at least it’s only till 1.
Pigpen – thanks for asking love. Well even when we were in the surgery she couldn’t actually pluck up enough courage to say outright that she’s keeping it, just “I’m thinking of keeping it”. Anyway he felt her tummy, believes she’s 11 weeks 56 days – so by my calculations it will be due around the 6 June. He’s put in a message to the midwife to contact her as she’s way behind with all the checks/procedures they go through. Asked for a scan date as well, so may hear something next week to when that will be. Anyway, we came home and about 10 minutes later DD1 and her dad turned up as he’d picked her up from work, told him that she hadn’t properly said she was having it, but that it’s hard for her, but that she’s getting booked for midwife etc. Anyway, he went and DD1 went upstairs to her, next thing WW2, lots of shouting (they are like that at times and with DD2’s head/hormones all over the place, even worse). They came downstairs to include me and DH! All DD1 wanted her to say was the actual words, that once she does we can all move forward, I said “well she has in a roundabout way” but I know she just wanted DD2 to admit it to herself not us, so then we can help her. Well she finally said the words. Don’t know why it was such a big issue myself. So lots of discussions then on the how’s and the what’s. She will have to be in the little room as loft extension not a possibility at the moment, tied to the lender for another year, they would only do a secured loan at a rate of 9.97% and is cost prohibitive to pay the penalty for moving mortgage and all the set up fees. We’ll manage space wise I’m sure. Anyway, there’s only so much talking/arranging you can do at one go, lots of time to do that and prepare. The overriding concern to her at the moment is that she won’t bond with it and is terrified of the birth, she wants me and DD1 there as well as the dad. So will get to see my grandbaby being born!

Sorry for the long post, that’s completely unrelated to flying. Flying - eerrmm – sweet FA really apart from the dailies xx

  • ooh - forgot to say, she is enormous for nearly 12 weeks, but my granddad was a twin - she nearly fainted when I told her and the doctor! His twin died at birth and we are always forgetting it because of that, so we will have to wait for the scan

:rotfl: that is exactly the sort of thing my DS1 says. He accused me of loosing his recipe which I had never seen. I went up and found it in his school folder (I know that is the last place to look:rolleyes:) and he accused me of taking it up their and filing it :rotfl:

Thanks sweetie, I did eventually hoover the whole house. It was one of those days when I'd gone out to various towns on a number of missions and only one was successful

Just a quickie to say hello.

First of all a massive hug to carlsbergal and your family. Your emotions must be everywhere at the moment but you should be so proud of the way your dealing with it. I'd have you as my mum any day.....not that you're old enough to be my mum!!! At least if you have to wait for the attic conversion you can plan it so it's exactly what you all need. Twins:eek::o:rotfl: xx

My children have made me an eye patch for tonight. It's hideous! I'm going to leave the house with theirs on and then I've got a gabrielle type one with black sequins on lent to me by a teacher at my children's school. Sorry, I love my children but not enough to wear what they've made to a dinner where I don't know many people :rotfl::rotfl:.

I'm going to S/S now and do the online banking.

Hugs to you all and i'll catch up tomorrow xxxxx

DH has just gone to Hanley - and he's left DD here because she didn't want to go - I was planning on going out in about half an hour so fat chance of that now! He said he was going for 9 but he's been sat playing on the PC. He got up in a foul mood as well!
DS's dentist appointment has been cancelled as they hadn't got a dental nurse.

I'm in the process of having a bit of a clear out in DD's room - which is more difficult when she's here as she won't let me get rid of things so I have to keep sneaking them.
