Greenbee/Soappie - ankles. If it is any help mine still hurts now and then from when I fell off the landrover side step during its MOT. That was start of July, and was deep tissue damage and really good bruises from twistng it. I can run and walk on it, it is the odd thing that hurts - like pushing with it. It will sort itself eventually and I didn't go to the Dr's either.
Thanks... I think :p I can use the cross-trainer in the gym, and potter about, but not walk properly or run. The oddest things hurt - like sleeping

I've also looked around online for a bag for DH for Christmas - struggling to find one, he wants a cross body messenger type one for work. The old one was on it's last legs when I met him over 4 years ago...I fixed the zip with a pin then for him, but it is full of holes now! Anyone have any ideas where to get one? I've looked at next, amazon, M&S and river island without much success. Hmmm, I wonder if Waitrose/JL at canary wharf might have one.
If you post a picture of exactly what you want, we might be able to help! You never know what might be lurking unused and as yet not decluttered...

soappie/greenbee- as Hex says, ankles take months. When I did mine i was advised to have a strong bandage up to the knee to provide plenty of support. It's always painful when you re-jar it. My mum whop knows about these things always says that sprains can be worse than breaks, esp if you've torn the tendons! So be patient.
I suppose I'll have to go and find a full length tubigrip then... I know I'll get treatment reaction with the massage, but it is at least helping to move the fluid, and she's working up my leg as well, as the muscles above the foot are affected. I have to say, it's incredibly painful treatment, but it does feel a lot better afterwards. Apparently the tendons are badly damaged, probably torn - they feel gritty and stringy when massaged. Driving is one thing that definitely doesn't help, but I'm not quite sure how to raise with my boss the fact that I'm going to have to try to have a week working from home (maybe I should just take it off sick... I'll have to check my contract and see what my sick leave entitlement is!).

Pen Pen - there is NO WAY I'll be doing star jumps again ever... I'm too old and I don't bounce anymore!

sexymouse - it looks as if you've come up with some great ideas. Tea towels are good - or if you've got a old dust sheet or something that you could rip up (and throw out afterwards, so avoid the washing), that might look even more authentic. See whether you can find some really old, beaten up colanders etc that look as if they've been through a storm - and how about garden sieves, they're suitably rustic. I'm sure you'll manage to find stuff (could you put a request out on freegle, explaining that it's for a school and you want battered stuff?)

carlsberg - good to hear you've got things sorted out, even if it'll be a bit crowded. If she's due in June, is she going to try to finish this year at uni or is she going to try to get a job and concentrate on saving for when the baby arrives?

toots - please don't try to do everything. Can someone come over and help you get ready for the decorator?

I've had a lie-in, and am feeling very unmotivated, but really need to make an effort this weekend to get the study (again) sorted and clear the utility room. Oh yes, and deal with at least some of the clothes stacked up all over the bedroom :o

Carlsberg... I am glad you have finally got a decision one way or the other, and it will all work out. I looked about 6 months by the time I was 3 with ALL of mine.. but if she is measuring right by the dates then the chances are it is only 1.. but as you say.. scan soon and you'll know. If giving birth was so bad noone would ever have more than 1 would they.. :p

My 2 Thorntons boxes have arrived... freebie included.. and details of the offer passed on to the courier.. she wondered why so may people had ordered soI gave her the codes and off she trotted.. She has been delivering my parcels for the last 10 years so it is only fair. :D Anyway.. I am most pleased with then..not least because they include my favourite Vanilla fudge.. *slurp* The rest is for the children so will be sorted in to christmas boxes later. I also have 2 huge boxes into which I can sort christmas presents to be wrapped.. so am doubly pleased lol.

Best get dressed.. get the SC on and make a stat on present sorting.. then I'm getting on with decorating the landing while the grubs are not here.. It will look nice.. it WILL!!

greenbee - i think this is the kind of thing... this one might even do! I'll have to measure his current one and see if it's a similar size.

Now that's a good idea - why didn't I think of that? My colander is plastic, and so is my seive - not very authentic.
