    Morning all

DH was breathing like one of those loud ventilators so I decided to get up about 7.20. Have washed up, had breakfast, filled the wm to put on a bit later.

I've also looked around online for a bag for DH for Christmas - struggling to find one, he wants a cross body messenger type one for work. The old one was on it's last legs when I met him over 4 years ago...I fixed the zip with a pin then for him, but it is full of holes now! Anyone have any ideas where to get one? I've looked at next, amazon, M&S and river island without much success. Hmmm, I wonder if Waitrose/JL at canary wharf might have one.

I think I might have to do some work today, lots of things on my mind and I'm not around until Weds now. I think at least I need to file my emails and there's about 3 things i didn't manage yesterday  Woke up wondering about how to persuade colleague I am right and he's not about a map we're doing! :rotfl: I do wish I wasn't such a worrier!

diva - our choc isn't all allocated, I did include a couple of blocks of dark for myself and a bag of continentals :D
soappie/greenbee- as Hex says, ankles take months. When I did mine i was advised to have a strong bandage up to the knee to provide plenty of support. It's always painful when you re-jar it. My mum whop knows about these things always says that sprains can be worse than breaks, esp if you've torn the tendons! So be patient.

Sorry I feel v self indulgent as i'm not up to date on how everyone is. Off to sort out a list, though not sure how much we'll get done.

  • Good morning everyone

Sexy - you sound so much brighter :A

Soappie and Greenbee - hope your injuries heal soon so that you can do this again => :j

DH has gone to buy paint (while the children are at swim club) so no excuse to start decorating on Monday

Off out this evening, so really looking forward to that. I'm shattered, so a nap this afternoon may be in order :o

Off to find a list ;)

I've been sorting through some CDs - can't persuade DH to get rid of many and we've got loads! The ones he has agreed to get rid of, some I like so I'm just putting them on the PC and then they can go.

I haven't bothered going to my GP about mine.... like you I didn't rest it - the problem being if it can take your weight you kind of forget :o Keep doing the Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation stuff. Once the bruising comes out it should feel better. They're unlikely to plaster it if you can walk on it, and would want to wait for the swelling to go down. Have you taken/used any arnica for the bruising? Or taken anything for the pain? ......
No flying done this evening... I've sat on the sofa with an icepack on my foot eating pizza :o I've now got to finish some paperwork for work...

The pain isn't bad, it's not constant. It just protests big time when I do certain things. I'll get some arnica when I go shopping today - we're right out. I hope yours gets better soon xxx I couldn't face a sports massage on mine - there's one part just underneath the sticky out ankle bone bit that feels really bruised when you touch it...

    Morning all,

Greenbee/Soappie - ankles. If it is any help mine still hurts now and then from when I fell off the landrover side step during its MOT. That was start of July, and was deep tissue damage and really good bruises from twistng it. I can run and walk on it, it is the odd thing that hurts - like pushing with it. It will sort itself eventually and I didn't go to the Dr's either.

    .

    Thanks Hex

moj2 - if you look at the picture of your hamper on the thorntons web site the box is at the back of the picture - brown patterned. Nice solid box with a proper lid. They sell the boxes for filling yourself if you look under hampers.
