It's been washed now because he put it in the wash. he got home from school and I asked huim to put his washing inn the basket and he said he had...erm no, there were trousers, his shoes and a shirt on the floor - he cam home in 'pe' kit yesterday so brought uniform home in bag. Then emptied it this morning.
Then he accused ME of getting the stuff OUT of the basket and putting it on his floor!
A definite chip off the old block there - his dad used to throw stupid accusations like that at me ALL the time.
Tell him he's old enough to do his own laundry, and that's what he'll have to do if he doesn't follow your system... BUT you'll charge him for electricity and detergent for each wash he does...0 -

I'm sure BB can fetch and carry for you if neededMoney_saving_Diva wrote: »Ouch Soappie - sit and put it up and ice it straight away again. Don't move for as long as possible!
Unfortunately when I squealed I was at the first aid class, ironically. I am now going to sit with an ice pack on for half an hour. There's some more blue bruising showing this evening though the swelling is less severe. It's four days now.
At what point do I say enough is enough and risk visiting the doctor only to have it put in plaster for six weeks?
I realise I've been v. selfish this week what with injuries and stuff and I hope you'll all forgive me. xxxI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I just ordered a heap of stuff from Debenhams.. including some school uniform bits for next September for DS3, DD2 and DD3.. but they were so cheap! I also ordered loads of sweets for family and children and a mug for my stepdad.
I am now off to do a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Lush order.. with my new window money... I have 2 weeks to replace it so as long as it isn't TOO extravagant of me I will be fine. CB in a week on Monday so I can fling that back to the window account.. it'll be fine.

Soappie you are by no means selfish! We want to hear how you are, so don’t feel it’s selfish to mention your injuries etc
Diva, thanks for saying I've done loads today and about not being superwoman - I thought I'd hit multi quote on that bit but it hasn't appeared. You are sweet and kind, thanks for making me feel better, I was feeling very lazy!
Twoflower, enjoy your friday night relaxing time!
This evening have run DH a bath and made him some toast - he didn't want any proper dinner as is too tired to eat it. Poor thing, he's worked really hard this week.
We are watching Children in Need now. I've finished my cushion cover for friend, need to sew it up this weekend to give her on Monday. I'm sure there was something else, but I can't remember!
Have a good weekend everyone! xx"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I haven't bothered going to my GP about mine.... like you I didn't rest it - the problem being if it can take your weight you kind of forgetKeep doing the Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation stuff. Once the bruising comes out it should feel better. They're unlikely to plaster it if you can walk on it, and would want to wait for the swelling to go down. Have you taken/used any arnica for the bruising? Or taken anything for the pain? You could try calling NHS direct.
Having said that, mine seems to be getting worse, but I've resorted to having sports massage on it to help fix it, as otherwise it might stay as it is. I've got two weeks before the physio gets back to try to get it back to normal, or I'm in trouble
No flying done this evening... I've sat on the sofa with an icepack on my foot eating pizzaI've now got to finish some paperwork for work...
