    A slow improvement.

I can now access the web page, log in and see my basic details, but cannot access any individual accounts.

I will register for telephone banking after this. It may have been a blessing in disguise!

Still can't access Bank of Scotland this morning - whatever the problem is AOL don't seem to be in any hurry to get it fixed.

I have had no problem logging in at any point. Is it not a local problem with your ISP?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Back to square one. I cannot even get the webpage up!
  • Looks like I will have to rely on friends/library in order to keep my bank accounts in order.........Still no reply from AOL to my message on their help (tee hee) page on Saturday. Perhaps I should send them a stamp so they can reply ............

There is now a recorded message on the AOL phone line stating that they are aware of the problem concerning some secure websites and are working on a solution.

The good thing, if there is a good thing, is that forums such as these do tend to put our minds at rest, because at least we know the fault isn't to do with our individual computers, inconvenient that it still is.
  • Its working now !!! AOL have fixed it :j
    The original janiebaby ;)
  • Isn't it nice that AOL are actually now supplying what I pay for - I absolutely agree with Calchas that there is a relief to know that others are 'suffering' alongside........Hopefully AOL will keep on top of the situation now and I won't have to go through the trauma of changing ISP. Thanks all of you for being there..........

Most Halifax branches have computers for internet banking inside them, so if AOL decide to do the same again, then if you can get to a branch, that's always another alternative.
