I'm a few weeks down the line, and even after such a relatively short length of time, I can honestly say that it does get better. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of ups and downs and am ready for far more of the crap stuff to come my way yet, but compared with how I felt 4 or 5 weeks ago, it is a huge difference.

    Hang on in there x

    hi RT

Sorry to hear about your friend and the fact that it looks like you are going to have to move home. Will selling the flat solve some of your other debt or not?

Trying to find a rainbow or silver lining for you!

  • Thanks to you all, you've cheered me up today :-)
I still do really feel like its the right decision, and in that I'm much happier, but all the practical stuff to sort out is so tiring!

Hypno - been trying to catch up your diary, an inspiration as always! Well done on the sleep getting better, I had two good nights, last night not so great, but getting there!

Savingholmes - need to properly number crunch. It *might* help the debt a bit if we sell, sadly renting here is so expensive that selling might give a bit of a boost but then slow down progress overall. Will sit with all the paperwork tomorrow evening when I actually have a bit of time and go through it. Then show exOH all the numbers next week when he returns and hopefully we'll agree on the best course of action...

being positive - hosting cheese and wine evening at my flat tonight, everyone to bring stuff so very MSE. Will just be providing a little food and fuel for the fire :-) Very much looking forward to it. Was quiet in the pub last night so an easy shift. Life isn't all bad...

Thanks so much again, will try and catch up with everyone else diaries etc later, I never have enough time for them!!!
