Hi all.Late for me too as we've been to Leeds to pick up our nephews(15 &17),they are staying over for the weekend. We got stuck in traffic on the way back-we saw it was bad on the way there so went into M&S for some pizzas for quickness for when we got back. All have been demolished along with apple crumble & ice cream and they all have been playing on DSs new game until our lads went out.

Tomorrow DH is taking them to the classic car show at the NEC with my DB,hopefully they will all enjoy it.
Pouring down with rain now,but not been a bad day here really.I've not caught up with the news properly,so just hope everyone is ok,hugs to those who aren't-I've been busy catching up on housework yesterday and this morning that got missed while I had the tummy bug.Next week I shall have to replenish my hm 'ready meals'-they were a Godsend while I wasn't upto cooking.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.x

    Evening all

Pelting rain here and lots of wind to go with it, DS3 has gone to Cork to go fishing, hope that he changes his mind, although I think that the weather is to clear there during the night...he is good in a boat so shouldn't really worry.

Hugs to all who are in need or want of one, this dark wet weather gets me down, think that I suffer from a mild degree of SAD, will be fine when rain stops!

Washing almost up to date, airers all in use as well as banisters, so much less washing when there are only 2 of us here.

Need to do some shopping to-morrow as haven't really shopped for a couple of weeks, probably just need fruit and veg.

Sleep well all and enjoy your weekend

    Evening everyone.
Late on here again as didn't have chance to get on lappy this morning. H has finished the painting the walls - he's decided to gloss paint some internal doors that we just waxed when we put them up a few years ago - not my choice but he's been moaning and nagging about doing it so went ahead and did it. Why I don't know - gloss paint is just something extra to get yellow and need to keep painting.
Just made some chocolate rum truffles. Receipe said 2 tbsp - sorry but I couldn't even taste it in the mixture so I added another 4 :rotfl: Just tried one and they definately have more kick now :D:cool: I think my mum will enjoy them!
Raining and blowing a gale outside so need to batten down the hatches

Hugs to all that need them.
Have a pleasant evening, albeit a bit windy :rotfl:

    Hello everyone :hello:

Have had a busy few days chasing my tail. Am feeling very stuffed after a tasty meal of bubble and sqeak with bacon and egg for tea.
Took the girls shopping for clothes this afternoon which was fun and tommorrow they have a dance show so they've gone to bed to rest up.
Am planning a big clear out of old files ect this weekend so the spare room looks like a bomb has hit it.

Celyn, your gift for your sister is so thoughtful.:A
    How are you Cranky? xxx
Hope you're fully recovered soon Elona and Essex Girl. xxx
