prices are out now! i have just got my email0

Am I right in saying that the Payg offer is fairly decent?!0

The handset price is the same as any other network, but the double credit's a nice touch...0

It is triple credit - badly worded though it may be - Spend £15 get £30 free so £45 in total
And clubcard points tooWe all evolve - get on with it0 -
PAYG pretty much the same as everyone else give or take a few pence.
Contract wise (I've looked at the 8 gb 3G not the S) the £20 a month looks good but the phone costs, at first glance it looks cheap, but when you thing £240 contract costs plus £222 for the phone makes it £38.50 a month effectly. the cheapest o2 contract is 24 months, but your paying £35 a month. The 18 month deal where you buy the phone comes in at just over £35 a month
The £60 deal looks noce but it's a lot to spend each month, I struggle to use my 500 minutes a month, so it would be a complete non starter for me.
Looking at the S it's a similar story, the £20 contract costs more per month (when you add in phone costs) than the o2 tarrifs, but again you can upgrade after a year in the only bonus.
I suppose it comes down to if you want change after a year and your prepared to pay extra for it. There are clubcard points too but thats likely to be a fiver or so at the most.
As was reported when you add the cost up over the contract term the iPhone is very similar across all providers.0 -

I'm disappointed with the PAYG price for the handset. I'd hoped for a little bargain (like sub-£400!!).
If I use my O2 sim card - will I still be using a Tesco signal? I want to buy the handset only from tesco but dont know if "tesco signal" applies then?
