Will MSE ever be able to produce a balanced 'News Article' on Ryanair?

    What's your problem?

In other news, Ryanair will offer passengers £20 a head to fly with them. There will be a £50 charge per head for crediting customers accounts.

What do you object to about the article dmg24? It seems factual to me and certainly more honest than the spin on the subject on Ryanair's own website.

The bread card seems quite interesting. Although slightly put off by the £1.50 charge per transaction. I was used to this with Electron when paying with euro but not sterling.

Looks like I'm going to get additional charges whatever way I do it with one of these cards, it's just a case of trying to keep it as low as possible now.

From whence did you glean that misinformation?

2% of the purchase transaction fee is correct. No minimum stated. Perfect for those 2p flights.

Oops sorry, ATM transaction, my apologies. Still unamused I'm being made to get one of these in order to get flights as cheap.

The ICE Travellers card mentioned in the MSE post above looks pretty good actually - the 2% top-up fee seems to be the only charge.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

I thought that too. But for me as I only fly with Ryanair if it's really cheap, there is little need to keep £100 on such a card.

I'm sorry - but why isn't someone in the office of fair trading or government changing the law so that Ryanair and others cannot charge a premium for paying by any debit card or cash. There is no possible reason (apart from profiteering and misleading advertising) why they shouldn't.

Could MSE and its users start a campaign? Petition on no 10 website and e-mailing MPs just to stop Ryanair from doing this!!!!!!

    R.
Smile :), it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

When I first heard it, I wasn't best pleased.

Electron is fairly easy to obtain and a card that you can get in the UK. Pre-paid Mastercards involve lots of fees so whatever headline price you pay, you won't be paying it because of everything else on top. So there is no free way. Surely that isn't fair at all?
