  • Woohoo didn't seem to be working last night? I have three gold stars and I'm very proud of them!!

Tired today, every morning I drive past a coffe shop on my (hour long) way to work. I look in there and I see couple having a coffee together and think to myself, that is why I'm working so hard and not treating myself. One day, I will be able to get the job I want, where I want it, with the hours I want, because I won't be a salary slave. One day.

My aim this year (along with all the other aims) is to make December a free month, so I'm saving clubcard and shell fuel vouchers, working hard to make enough amazon vouchers to be present neutral, and filling the pig up! Still, will probably treat ourselves at our wedding!! You only do it once so I want it to be good!
  • Hooray it's friday!!!

Secret extra job just phoned and asked if I could work this aft, I had to say no because although I could have managed it, it would have been a real rush and I promised OH I'd make some chilli jam as we're visiting friends tomorrow and it's such a nice gift to give rather than something bought.

I also need to do general tedious stuff like washing but I'd rather get it out of the way than do it tomorrow when we are supposed to be building our hen house!!!

It's the first time I've turned it down but it was just too short notice, I feel bad though!! It would have been worth about £50. Well, I'll just have to save extra hard!!!

ANyway, it's a lovely day, I went for an extra hard run this morning, I need to lose about 4lb for my dress fitting on the 24th but it's not happening, I don't know why, I am so good with what I eat and I always exercise twice a day, OH says it;s because my body doesn't want to lose weight!!!

    Oh well.

  • My sweet peas are growing! I planted a load that I took from my plants last year as pea pods, in a pot on my kitchen windowsill and they are an inch high!!
    Very pleased as totally MSE!

Step-son "to be" coming for supper tonight, OH made a beef casserole yesterday (whenver beef is in the oopsie aisle, we get it and freeze it til we have enough).

OH tries so hard with his daughter but she just wants to see her friends and smoke (15 yo!! One of her friends has just had a baby....) and won't ever come round and when he goes to see her, she says she'll be in and she never is. Him and her mum are at a loss. So sad.

    Hope everyone ok today.

  • I just find it very hard to know what to say. Not having children myself, I never know what to do. We're fine though, thanks SH. It's a year today since we moved into our dream house and it's still perfect, we're catching up with the debt we got into to allow us to move and it's a nice day. I have nothing to complain about....

...except that I am so worried about fitting into my dress but that's not the end of the world.
