You say you do the scratchies, do you do bingo too? Took me a while to get my head around it but so long as you don't play with your own money you can win a fair bit. Hey CSA, good to read your diary and I hope that in just over 18 months time your wish comes true!
Have you signed up to do mystery shopping? Or survey sites such as lightspeed or valued opinions? Obviously you can't make a living but they provide you with money/vouchers that can be used for presents or a bit of food shopping - it all helps!
Good Luck!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

I'm looking into bingo tonight after having been inspired by Hypno and macgirl!! I'm not so sure on mystery shopping as I'm a higher rate tax payer and it seems like this is a lot of work for the tax man to take so much! How do you all get along with it?
I have ebayed everything I can possibly think of, I'm raiding my parents house as well!! Just had my first non-payer grrrrrrrr.
Thank you so much for reading.

I tried to sgn up to bingo britain last night but couldn't find the link to register...? Anyway, also going to do green metropolis as I have lots and lots of books!
Fed up at work which doesn't help but one of the ladies has brought her parrot in today so that makes life a bit more interesting!0 -
How cool! I wish we could bring pets to work!
Green metropolis is great! I've sold lots of books on there, and also on amazon and play.com - but you have to get your p+p calculations right on there!
Mystery shopping is great fun and is basically pocket money, but this year I'vebeen doing the money neutral gifts challenge on here, so for every MS earning I make that goes against the presents bought and so far I'm in profit! Good fun if you have the time.
Have a good day with the parrot!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Just popping in to say good luck with your debt busting, you sound very focussed

I look forward to watching your progress xxDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Well, I had a nasty surprise yesterday when I collected my post from the flat. The lease has been sold to a new company and the old company hadn't been charging us ground rent so the arrears are due! That has taken up all of my debt busting money this month so I'm really annoyed. I know the money was never mine in the first place but it's a pain when you think you are doing OK!
I also googled the name of the new leaseholders and they have lots and lots of court actions against them so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I opened a dispute on ebay last night for the unpaid item, hopefully they will pay up, what's the point of buying something and not paying for it! I have another item with bids on and one with lots of watchers so fingers crossed.
The parrot just said W*nker. hahahahaaa, brilliant.0 -
Hoorah, non-payer has paid. Going to cash some money from paypal now and nip it off that credit card. It's brilliant to read these diaries and realise that I'm not alone, "consumer revenge":money: we'll win in the end!
I've arranged an interview with my boss's boss in two weeks. That's a really big thing in the army and I'm a bit nervous so I'm going to write down everything I want to say. That's not MS but I'm hoping I may feel more motivated after seeing him.0 -
Well, two of my ebay items sold and I've just listed another 4, have 8 books on amazon (mainly text books) and in the process of listing about a million others on green metropolis. It seems like a huge mountain!0
