no that would be stupid. But i think it was a little unconsiderate, with the programme being a very light hearted soap opera.

I was impressed by the way that they brought the issue into the storyline, and hopefully it will prompt conversations between younger people and their elders on the topic.

Yep, it was the lady that runs one of the chinese takeaways in town. She said she had seen lots of people wearing them but never knew what they were for.

i think oyu missed out the 'blowing up bit' that was offensive, in my opinion anyway.

Sadly, the description used was accurate, and not everybody agrees with going to war, hence the comments made. People have different viewpoints, and soaps have to reflect this.

It is a very difficult subject. Would you rather that they ignored it and pretended it did not exist?

Please tell me that you have not really complained?
