Plasma is good to see but the main problem is the heat and it has less life than LCD. If the Tv is placed in a cool place then Plasma is good.0

Even now nothing comes close. Bought mine about 4 months ago and had them side by side with the Panasonics, the Pioneer blew it away.
Totally depends on your budget and what you are doing.
top end Plasma's do give vastly better PQ than LCD however they cost, my ISF calibration cost me £375 alone which is what most people spend on there TV
all depends much and how heavy you want to get into home cinema, for most people lcd will be fine, like McDonalds0 -

I think youll find LCDs are catching up fast so the 'vast' comment you came out withno longer stands up
My dad has the A500, ive just bought a 46" Sony W5500 and can tell you its VERY comparable (I calibrated them both myself using a spyder 3 sensor which does get VERY close results):idea:0 -

utter rubbish, my 60" kuro is next to a radiator, its never had a problem
If you've got a 60" Kuro, why would you need a radiator?
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.
