  • My £5 has always appeared after the 1st also (although dated 1st)

Thank-you Apt - rang and changed my other account over to a reward act and indeed they confirmed the branch had been talking rubbish!

At a guess, another instance of the Halifax system needing to update overnight.

    Anyone understand Halifax FP rules?
Yesterday £1000 + £500 from each Reward account - no problems
Today (so far) - No FP from any account for any amount

(maybe there's no FP on Fiver day ;))

Well had another go and have now managed £1000 from each, but can't do a second transaction. Maybe there's a time limit between transaction - I'll have another go later.

Dont understand the rules but my experience was that.
On Sunday I was able to do £1000 + £500 FP from each of my 5 HFX accounts.
Monday no FP of any amount were allowed.
Tuesday FP allowed £1000 + £500 again possible.

Between us, my unknowing other half and I have broken through the £200 barrier since the inception of these wonderful accounts. :D

Christmas will be slightly easier this year. As to next year, who knows!

Well I finally managed to extract everything - involved 4 separate logins at different times of the day and shuffling £500s up and down between the 3 accounts depending on which would allow FP at any particular time. Never attempted to excee £1500 daily limit or the £1000 transaction limit but sometimes it would work from 1 account and sometimes from another

BTW - what a c****y online banking site

Today within 1/2 hr I had transferred £1,000 from Lloyds to Halifax Reward No. 1, then to No. 2, then to No. 3 (to collect my monthly £15) and then sent it back again to Lloyds. All happened with FPs.
