We'll be getting the annual statement next month I think as we started paying last Feb. It looks like my statement will be like your colleagues as I'm sure it was £109k when we took it out!

What a good idea Zig, I might have to steal that one! How was the move? I was thinking about you as I nodded off last night (as you do....) and thinking we hadn't heard from you this week!

The move was fine! Still sorting everything out at this end though. Aw that's sweet. :o I don't seem to get on here as much as I'd like at the mo!

PS. I love my eyebrows! I was a bit alarmed as it only took about 4 minutes and she didn't ask how I wanted them before she started trimming them () but they are super!

ETA: The only bad bit was after she'd finished my eyebrows, she said "now, what about your upper lip?" *mortified*

:rotfl: Poor you! But I'm sure she asks everyone = more money! Glad you like them though! Did it hurt at all? I'm a right wimp, even getting my eyebrows waxed hurts me.
I've only got up to about £7, am I a bit stingy with my rounding-down? I've been doing it to the nearest £1 as I don't want to leave myself short!

I only do it to the nearest pound too. I'm well pleased with my money pots! I used the empty hula hoop pots and painted them dusky pink to match my room and then wrote Wasted, Coppers and Silvers on them. I'm sad I know! :D

ETA: I have been thinking tonight of selling some of my S&G stash as I have ridiculous amounts, but it doesn't seem to go for too much on ebay. I'm also thinking of selling my unopened hatbox for a BIN price of £30 (what the others seem to be going for!), but then I feel guilty for making a profit out of it! I don't know what to do.

ETA: I have spent far too long looking at expat forums and am feeling really down that I really want to spend 6 months/1 year in Australia and OH doesn't want to. :( The feeling will pass, just feels a bit rubbish at the moment.

Feeling very good about money today. My Mum has just given me £60 off what she owes me so that has gone off my current account. I was £65 overdrawn so paid in all my online savings (except my tiny house fund!) and the £60 so I now have £5 in my account (£2.24 went in VSP) and I have £21 in my purse to last me the next week. I get paid next Friday so I can start my budget properly and in the black! :D

I need to put £3.75 in my Wasted Money Pot because I didn't buy some cheap sleepsuits I saw in Sainsbury's - they have enough baby clothes at the mo but it was hard to resist because they were cheap. I also need to put in £1 because I very nearly bought some cookies.

The diet is also going very well this week so hopefully it will stay that way and I'll lose some weight!

My phone bill has gone up to £27.50 because I added an unlimited web browsing bolt on, but I'm tempted to swap it for my unlimited O2 to O2 calls and just use my minutes. Hmm, free calls, or more expensive phone bill each month.

    I haven't updated for aaages! :o

Well, I am half way through my budget and all seems to be going well. (£30 a week spends, and £20 a week in my Personal Stash) Although my PS has all been used due to a vet bill and tickets to see Reginald D Hunter and Steve Hughes! :D

I now have £121 in my House Fund which is better than nothing I 'spose!

And I have £35.90 on it's way from Quidco so I'll put that in my general savings I think.

My sister now owes me about £250 because I lent her some money from my overdraft as she fell into the trap of going over her overdraft and kept getting charged etc so I got her out of that vicious circle. I'm on her back until I'm paid back though!

Other than that I have no exciting news! My birthday is this month so I will need some spending money for the 4 days we are in Cornwall eating lots of lovely food!

I have £24 in my £2 coins pot but don't want to use them cause they look good! :o

Well done Zig! Think I need separate pots for my saved money so I know exactly how much I'm saving!

I find it much easier Ruby having my savings in separate accounts, otherwise I'd be too confused!

I'm currently just trying to do my essay and I'm getting fed up with it. If anyone wants to give me the Harvard reference for the National Curriculum then feel free - I can't seem to find it

I've been feeling increasingly positive the last few weeks except for one panic attack and one wobble - both to do with my sister stressing me out! But today I'm feeling down because I wish I had a best friend. I sound like a right loser but I think I just need to get it off my chest so feel free to stop reading at this point! :o

I'm 21 (nearly) and don't drink (it makes me ill) and hate going clubbing so that excludes me from most social activities that most people I know do. I just wish I had someone that I could ring and talk to whenever I wanted, and could just hang out with and go shopping with and watch dvds and make cakes or whatever! I have a few friends at uni but we don't see each other out of uni much, and if we do, it's to go to town. Plus they have their own circles of friends. I don't feel like I fit in anywhere. My OH's friends' partners are their own little group and I feel awkward, especially as they're all like 10 years older than me. *sigh* I just feel a bit lonely sometimes. :(

Sorry to hear your feeling down again Zig - the only thing i would suggest is maybe join some groups/clubs? Socialising doesnt always have to be about going out drinking.

I wouldnt say i have a huge group of friends, but a few close friends - which to be honest i much prefer.

    Big hugs to you though!

Aw Zig, sorry you're feeling down. I know what you mean, I have a few close friends but they've all moved away so I don't get to do the going out shopping type things. Do you not have any friends you're still close to from school? How about a book group, they seem to be very popular at the minute...
