Me too, that's what reawakened my passion for vintage Pyrex! What cookery books you looking at, do share?

Wow, bargains, I've seen some lovely playsuits around but think with me being so tall they might be a bit tight in certain areas!

Lol @ the tight playsuit! :p I've tried one before and it made me look even more dumpy but they look so easy to wear that I'm trying another one!

Erm, the Sophie Dahl cookery book, and Gizzi's Kitchen Magic. I also want the Good Food 101 best curries, and the Hairy Bikers': Mum's Know Best, AND the Primrose Bakery cupcake book. :D But I'm trying not to buy things I don't need (even though I bought all those clothes!) :o

I also really want this pan that I saw on Sophie Dahl (which is on tonight, yay!)

Lots of things I want at the moment obviously! I've been for a walk again this morning so hopefully it'll be a good loss on Friday. I keep seeing tons of horses which is making me really want to go horse-riding so I might look and try and find a cheap stables.

Well done on the walking Zig - it's such nice weather! We had lunch outside today in the folly garden which is a little walled garden with a pond - bliss :)

I love love love le creuset - I was determined to save up for one of the teal casserole dishes, but they've only gone and brought out 'cassis' which is gorgeous! What to do...

You're right, it's often a choice between stuff and a house; even once you have a house you can spend £££s on it and not see a difference, so sometimes it's nice to splash out on something lovely to put in it. And a magimix...

I'm undecided about playsuits, I'm just not keen on the idea of giant baby clothes. Or maybe it's just because I *know* they'd look terrible on me - although for the opposite reason as Tete -small, chubby, big boobs etc:rotfl:

Awh, I like having Zig back :D Your house account is looking really healthy btw!

I really should give Sophie Dahl another chance, I tried 5 minutes of the first show but didn't really like her. She's way scrawny and knowing she's a naturally curvy girl I can't believe she sits down and scoffs what she says she does!

Very clever using the library to check out recipe books before buying them though! Why have I never thought of that?

Exactly! I reckon she must have a real struggle to stay that skinny. That's why I love Nigella, because she really does look like she enjoys food ;)

Haha, I was actually going to say that although I'm not keen on Nigella at least I know she's not lying because of what follows her! :D

I've been playing with Gizzi's book lately (blog post on one of the recipes going up tonight or tomorrow) AND the Primrose book arrived today, so I will no doubt be trialling some of these soon!

I have a teeny cast iron casserole that I love but it's not big enough. And a couple of dishes. I am determined to buy this mixer though. I dream about it! There's a lovely kitchen shop near me that was doing an offer where you got the blender free with it! But at like £300 I just couldn't bring myself to buy it (yet)!

Aw thanks :o The balance doesn't change though! :p

Yeah I know what you mean about Sophie Dahl, it is quite hard to believe she eats what she makes! Anyone watch the Jamie programme tonight? I love him but wasn't particularly inspired much. I'm planning to go to Morocco possibly over Christmas anyway as my Dad's house there is pretty much finished now. I don't know what to think of Morocco though!

Ooh I'll keep an eye out then! I have seen tons of lovely biscuit and cake recipes in my Ballymaloe Cookery Course book but I'm meant to be dieting :(

Oh I forgot about the Jamie programme! These are the Jamie Does...ones? I'm looking forward to the Spanish one, must try and catch last nights on the internet. I have the Primrose book but haven't done anything from it yet, there are lots of different ideas though.

Love those Kitchen Aid things, but I'm trn because it doesn't really seem like baking if all you do is measure the ingredients and pour them into a machine, I quite like doing the mixing, whisking, creaming, beating and folding - they require skill :)

I don't think Sophie is THAT skinny :o She's not as bad as she was a few years ago when she first lost weight, and I might be being controversial here but I think she looks loads better slim than she did when she was a size 16 :o *exits*
