I'm angry at myself. Spent stupidly unnecessary money today.

£6.27 in M&S on a sandwich, milk, crips, biscuits, veg samosa, and cheese. Never go into an expensive supermarket when starving hungry.

£9.26 in Boots on bubble bath x 2, No7 wipes, make up applicators, and nail varnish remover.

6.12 in Boots on No7 eyeshadow brush, special lady goods, and !!!!!!! mini eggs.

I intended to go in and just use my £5 off No7 vouchers, but then I thought I'll just get a few things I need to bump it up so I get more vouchers. So I did need everything, except the mini eggs, but I was 37p short and grabbed the nearest thing to the till - they were £1.25 for like 10 eggs! :mad:

So yes, annoyed.

Exciting news though - the baby will be here by the weekend! The Dr says that they think it will come tomorrow but if not she will be induced on Thursday.

I rang my sister to say about going halves with me on the mum/baby present and she got angry saying 'why I am buying presents, no-one buys presents for new babies.' I was like !!!!!!?! But whatever, I'll pay

Thats news to me i always buy a little something for people close to me that have babies, maybe its just because i like buying little cute baby clothes :rotfl:
Exciting news though that the baby will be here soon, you must be very excited, do you know if shes having a boy or a girl or will it be a surprise?

I know, she's being an idiot. I just love buying people presents so any excuse is good really!

I'm the eldest so I always sort the presents and she gets angry/jealous cuz I get 'all the glory' cuz everyone knows it's me who sorts it. But I asked her to sort my Dad's birthday present for Sunday and she did naff all so now I feel properly guilty. I might make him a cake. If she doesn't wanna contribute or help then why shouldn't I be acknowledged for the effort I put in?!

Anywho, it will be a surprise! But we all think it's a boy which would be great!

Sounds like someone i know :rolleyes: OHs sister comes up with (rubbish) ideas but will contribut say £5 and expect us to foot a £50 bill or something.
We have now decided that everyone is old enough to sort their own presents, and we wont be having her scrounging anymore!!

I hope your sister cheers up a bit once the baby arrives! Do you think shes maybe a bit jealous that shes not getting all the attention?

I think she's just literally going through a phase where she's acting like a spoilt brat and doing what she wants. I had my phase when I was 15, she's just doing it a few years later.

I know I should butt out but I find it really hard, especially when she owes me money and I see her wasting it and stuff. OH is saying to just not talk to her now cuz I find it hard to sort of calm down and I end up finding it hard to breathe. Thankfully no panic attacks since Christmas though.

Yea you shouldnt let her stress you out. Know how you feel with the panic attacks, after my friend died i had a few, luckily havent had any attacks for a few weeks - thats good news that you havent any since christmas

I feel really bad cuz my Mum is worried about me at the mo cuz when she rings me she can hear that I'm like always trying to catch my breath and she worries! Bless her! But I am trying to relax more...

It's so cold today. And I can't be bothered to go and tidy up the kitchen before I cook tea. Gotta be done I s'pose. :rolleyes:

Oh bless her, but thats what mums do - they always worry!

I'm on a waiting list to see a counceller and in discusions with docs at the mo about the possibility of going on anti-depressants, since my mum found out shes been ringing me everyday! I know she means well, but i dont have anything new to tell her :rolleyes:
