Hope things are better between you and your OH. I agree with the others, wait for things to settle down before you book anything.

Ohh exciting for your Step Mum's baby, when is it due?

The baby is due Jan 13th (or around there) so it seems as if it will be early! They are shopping for baby gear at the moment, talk about organised.. I'm getting excited though! Can't wait to meet him or her, reckon it'll be a boy though. :D

And yeah things do seem to be looking up, but I need to take it slow because I thought that before and then look what happened. :o My Mum is being incredible though and I got upset leaving to come back to the flat so she said to come and stay next week too :)

I've just emailed my Nan asking about moving in sooner so I'll probably have a reply tomorrow - I'll just have to wait and see what she says.

ETA: I have just added up the bits I have shoved on my overdraft lately and it adds up to £265.45 which sucks :( But I get my next student loan payment in January and once I've paid rent I'll have £500 left so that will pay off the overdraft. It consists of:

    *Burt's Bees sets x 4 £40
    *Aussie hair sets x 2 £6
*Book for uni, smoothie maker and Aussie hair set £38.69
    *Urban Outfitters stuff £89.92
    *ASOS stuff £48
*Book People £42.50 (some fantastic teaching resources)

I hate seeing that I've spent so much, but I desperately needed some new clothes. And the Burt's Bees and Aussie is for presents. Still doesn't excuse the splurge, I just wasn't keeping track like I usually do.

Glad things are looking up a little. And yay to bike shopping!! :D I love the smell of bike shops - I really should get on my Pashley more, would love to be able to bike to work on it next year.

The walks and picnics sound like a good idea too, mine and OHs NYR is to go on a different walk each week so maybe you could do something like that?

The splurge isn't too bad, and at least you know you'll be able to pay it off with your loan. Plus you have pressies sorted so won't need to worry about buying them. Might just be a tight budget for a bit?

    Quick update:

No bike shopping so far - OH's car has broken so that will be about £300 for a new part so his money is going on that obviously.

Doctors went ok - she said I'm showing signs of depression but doesn't want to shove me on tablets. She's given me a leaflet and wants to see me in a few weeks. She's going to write me a letter for uni tho so hopefully that will be enough to get me extenuating circumstances.

I could solve all my problems though if I had a Bernard's watch (anyone watch that programme?) He could stop time with this watch, and do whatever he wanted then start time again. I could just stop time for like a month and sleep and get on with everything slowly. :o

I've spoken to the uni who have said I need to do the presentation as they can't reschedule that, and to do what I can on the assignments. Again, hopefully the doctor's note will be enough otherwise I'm !!!!!!ed. They're due in Tues so I'd best get cracking.

Money - I'm £160 overdrawn. But my sister owes me £80 so that will go towards that when she gives it to me. The plan is to use the £500 I'll have from my student loans to pay £300 to my Natwest overdraft, and the rest to my Lloyds one. Any money left over will go into my savings.

I have withdrawn £25 and £30 from BB but not received it yet. I hope it comes because that will help.

    My diet is going rubbish.

Am thinking of doing Camp America when I graduate. Just a thought. :o

ETA - Things with OH are good, just annoying timing with everything really. Why couldn't things have been good when I needed the support?!

One of my friends did camp America when she graduated, she absolutely loved it, and is now moving to south africa for a boy she met while there!

The fact that your OH didn't put you first when you needed his support upsets me to be honest, you needed his support not to be told you weren't amusing him enough!

I figured if I do it when I graduate then that gives me enough time to get fit!

Yeah the doctor was saying similar things. She said we could always go to relate as it's not just for married couples but that seems a bit extreme when OH seems to have changed and is making an effort. She said we need to look at each other as we are now, not 4 years ago and ask ourselves if we love and want that person. *sigh* It's hard work and I'm so fed up.

I think the doctor is right, and its not about to be helping your happiness. Having someone independant to talk things through with might help you understand and appreciate the other person better. At the end of the day ignoring the issue won't solve it, and its only been a week or two, in the grand scheme of things thats nothing.

Yeah I think you're right Dinah. Just gonna go with the flow for the moment though, I don't have it in me, or the time, to do anything drastic or make plans.

My DooYoo voucher just came through so I treated myself to Rachel Allen's new cookbook and the Yo Sushi cookbook which I've wanted for ages. I have quite a bit in my present stash so I don't feel too guilty. :o

Argh! I am due to do a presentation on Behaviour 4 Learning tomorrow and I'm really struggling :( Everyone is struggling with it so I know it's not just me, it's just so frustrating and I'm dreading standing up and spouting my absolute rubbish. I get really nervous doing presentations. :(

Good news though - my loan came through on Saturday so I am debt-free again. I have also settled my flatmate with the rest of the rent until I leave (1st Feb). So that's one less thing to worry about. I've also figured out that with my next loan payment (plus a few hundred extra) I'll be able to give my Nan the whole year's rent in one lump sum! So that'll be great knowing any money that comes in for the year is mine to save etc.

It also means that my next 2 bursary payments (£400 each) will be able to go into my holiday savings/moving out savings. Yay!

    On with the presentation..
