Oooo forgot to say had a well funny weekend ;)

Got given a free tea and some biscuits by the train guard on Friday night! A boy at Leeds offered me his taxi (how sweet in the pouring rain!!) - didnt need it becuase OH was picking me up but anyway.

Saturday went to Roundhay park and found it would be the perfect venue for a parkrun and saw lemurs at tropical world (although we didnt go in as you had to pay!), then we went to York and the railway museum, and a run in the dark and watched some fireworks as we were out running in the rain.

On Sunday ran the Lancaster half marathon which had a 500m stretch of knee deep of ice cold water

York and Lancaster were really lovely though! I remembered only when we got there that I've been to York before a few years ago :p

I do feel like I carry the worry of everyone in my family I tell you! My mum comes to me, my sister relies on me, OH well thats another story, Boss treats me like im in charge and passes everything on to me grrrrrrrr

    Thanks snags...what would I do without my wonderbra's :)

and now I feel like a right cow...Just read it back and actually I would do anything for my sister and I should be there for her, I wasn't when it mattered and feel carp for that and will always regret it. I guess what I meant is that no-one else from my family is there in the same way and some days I feel overwhelmed (not that I would want her to know that and for her to feel like she was a burden)
Ok I'll shut up Im waffling and going around in circles

We knew what you meant Sal - I have said this before (to Buffy I think) - this is the place where you CAN come and rant about your family when they get too much. We know you love your family, we know you aren't bad-mouthing them, but sometimes it just helps to let off steam, say the thoughts that are buzzing round in your head out loud and get them out of your system, and then you can tackle them more rationally.

Don't feel guilty, use it as an outlet for your feelings, and then you will be more able to support her.

    morning wonderbra chums....

sally - ((hugs)) your sister is lucky to have you, and you should be pleased she comes to you... it speaks volumes for your character that she feels she can.

I agree this is the place where you can moan about our loved ones... it's what we're here for and doesn't mean we care any less or would do any less for them....

nothing much new with me really... busy weekend. will update the diary.... but nothing scandalous.

i will be moaning about my mum and sister most likely!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
