Landing clear of detritus... Just a few boxes which will be rammed on DD1's bed first thing and a cupboard to go in the girls room the the rugs can come up.

the hallway just has the bookcase to move which is a night on impossible task.. so neither OH nor I want to do it.. I'll finish my cuppa and we have to get it done.

Question regarding XH... I get all the money for the children.. XH earns the same amount each month as I get for all 9 of us. Obviously he has bills etc as do I, but he doesn't contribute towards the childrens clothing or anything (not that I have asked!) Anyway, DD2 brought home a letter about a week at camp next May.. it is £175 (I paid the full £450 + passport + spending money for DD1 this year) for the 5 days.. should I ask him to contribute? Or should I not be a twit and realise that he will say no and I get the money and I didn't want him to come back usual blah-di-blah?

I am sending in a £20 deposit tomorrow with the letter so she can go.. but the other £155 might prove elusive now I have no more insurance cheques coming in.

I always (although I hyperventilate beforehand but it IS getting easier) ask exOH to contribute for 'extras' for DS and DD.
In fact HE bought DD a guitar last xmas - she is signing up for lessons at school so I shall be asking him to contribute to the cost of those...
For the two of them I get £56.00 a week. Their dinners are £2.50 a day so thats £25.00 a week.
Last week DD had new school shoes (should have been £45.00) and DS had some at a similar cost fairly recently.
And that'sbefore all other costs - I allocate them £40 pcm pocket/phone/extras they 'need' money.
So I would say do ask. If he says no well you know where you are and then YOU make sure the kids KNOW who is paying for the extras ;)

    3. evening everyone
just a quick post as I am off to bed - have been doing other things tonight

sexy will be thinking of you tomorrow and there holding your hand - your being brave going in - but like you said get it over and done with - I too think you should take the time off and get yourself back on your feet - massive (((hugs))) xxxx
soappie just tell them you are the right person for the job and to stop messing about - *get the job* vibes by the lorryload for you

pigpen IMHO he has no responsibilities except for the odd weekends that he has the children so his money is his - so he should def be helping pay for extras like the trip. when you get sorted out with a solicitor and divorce etc - he will probably find he will have to pay more towards their care - a friend who is away from his wife pays maintenance and for all their holidays (which she chooses) and pays for a lot of extra school activities and various lessons (horse riding, music etc) - it was all laid down by the court!

havent had time to do proper catch ups and will not beat myself up over it like I usually do.

I had my first swine flu jag and feel ok so far

      Love and hugs to everyone
      catch you tomorrow
      toots xx
      Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
