Sexy - hope everything goes well this morning - a friend of mine had a similar situation and her union told her she'd got to resign - make sure you contact the union and you look after yourself. Huge hugs shug - you know where I am if you want to chat.

Piggers - definitely - ask him for some money - how soon before you get everything sorted with him?

I'm on a course today and then we're going to the lights switch-on tonight and mum and dad's for tea so I won't be around much tonight.

Last night after tea I went to Boots for the shopping night and to Mr Ms, came back and pretty much went to bed. DS was sent home from school early (only half an hour) but he seemed fine last night and he's fine this morning so he's going today luckily as I was panicing last night as to who I was going to get to look after him with me being on a course. If he does turn out not to be very well again then they'l have to ring my dad to fetch him.

Anyway I'd better get dressed and put the WM on.

Rosepink - I would get your poor DH an appointment just to get things checked out.
Sexymouse - You go get them today, I think teachers do a wonderful job and you have shown how committed you are by not accepting the sick note from your GP well done and hope the meds lift your spirit a bit

Pigpen - I would definately ask for half of the money from your XH, you don't get if you don't ask, he can only say no.

I have docs today after work to find out results of ultrascan due to having terrible lower abdominal pains

Morning all....
Hope everyone OK? As usual, I'm sending hugs to anyone who needs one as I haven't caught up with the thread....seems like my feet haven't touched the ground this week...

Today, I will be mostly catching up on the last two days, plus today. Don't know where the week has gone to be honest.

On top of that, I'm in the middle of organising a birthday party for DD, who is 5 two weeks before Christmas (didn't really plan that right did I!!). There are two other children in her class with birthdays around the same time, so it's a joint party and hence a three way process. Hopefully we can get things finalised today.

Right, better jump in the bath, wake littleys (and OH!) and get going for the day. I'm so pleased it's Friday.

Friday ~ Kiddies rooms, Spare rooms or another neglected room
Level One
Declutter and vacuum the floor
Tidy away all the toys and clothes and games and books that are in the wrong places
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself.. you time is very important!
Level Two
Strip and wash bedding and replace with clean.. vacuum and turn mattresses if needed
Wash any other soft furnishings.. curtains etc
Sort through a chest of drawers.. dispose of anything that is outgrown, worn out
Level Three
Dust and deweb
Wipe over the bedframes and paintwork
Binbag dance!
Extras

1. Wash windows and sills
2. Wipe all the upstairs doors.. both sides!
3. Sort through one box or drawer filled with miscellaneous gibble.. from any room.. it just needs it!!

Pigpen - how old is DS2 - could she ask? My SIL's kids have always approached their Dad themselves since they were teenagers - he always said no if she asked. Similar situation finance wise to u - but poor love was always broke.:mad:

Good morning everyone :beer: DH is off today so we#re starting off stripping the wallpaper in our main living room, then off to visit some friends in Cambridgeshire over the weekend :j

DD's toe swelled up badly last night, so DH has taken her to see if they can get an emergency appointment :eek:

This was a breeze - Nathan's room is the one I do stay on top of as I spend a lot of time in it supervising him playing, giving me the chance to sort and tidy on a regular basis. Will go back and look at Mon-Wed and see what I've not done but planning to go out this afternoon if weather holds.
