Will be thinking of both Sexy and Zoe

    WM 2 on

Wm x 1 has been washed AND DRIED (mostly on E7 leccy) because I woke up at 6 and managed to FORCE myself out to the shed (in the DARK and the COLD and the RAIN) to put the towels in the TD! Then, of course, I went back to bed  There is no way they would line dry even if it doesn't rain as it's too 'damp' in the air IYSWIM.
    Go me!

    Morning lovelies!

Rosepink As far as I am aware the 'Insulation' programme is only at the 'were looking into ways of doing them' stage, could take years....I'm still upset about it, I don't want to go on and aon about it cause in the grand scheme of things it's only a house BUT....it's my home, I want my kids to have a nice home I want to love it and can't when it's a building site, we stopped doing the home improvements when we found out the council were gonna be doing works so it's a building site, can't move on with it until I have confirmation either way about the insulation, I'm going up to my local council office this afternoon after work, totally prepared for 'we don't know' then it's a visit to my local councillor. I had it given then taken away :( I'm also very angry at being told it was happening in the first place and now it just isn't, having a word with neighbours too to see if they've been told similar. Hope your DH is feeling better x

    Sorry that just poured out.

Anyway.....work today 9.30 - 2.30 so will do the list when I get in, did the biggest part of yesterday I think but not checked it in detail so not sure...

Sort through a chest of drawers.. dispose of anything that is outgrown, worn out

    Morning all,

sorry I've been missing for a couple of days. I've had things on after work and just feel sooooo tired when I get in, that I manage some of the dailies and not much else. I feel that I'm letting myself down, but I'm really struggling this week. Coming down with something, I think.

Off work with DS2 today, who's not well. I think it's just a cold, but he's also got tummy ache and according to the helpline fits the criteria for swine flu. I'll collect the tamiflu this afternoon, but I don't think I'll give it to him unless he gets much worse. Will try to get our GP to phone for advice. He's got a runny nose, tummy ache and temperature just above 38. Headache is gone. I know that some of you have had kiddies with SF and I'd really appreciate your views.

Hopefully I'll get quite a bit of flying done today - will update lists tonight. I need to pop into work at the end of school to support a colleague and collect books etc for the weekend, provided DH gets back in time.

First things first, though....hugs and good wishes to all who need them, and breakfast!
    Anyone for a HHC, 9.30 - 10?

Good luck vibes for Sexy and Zoe

Feel a bit happier about yesterday, had a long chat with OH on the way to the hospital and he got really angry about it (we used to work together until a year ago so he knows all concerned and protocol etc), I am going to have a chat with the hierarchy guy I spoke to yesterday. I feel as though my judgement had been called into question rather than her inability to do what she should be able to so shall see what they say.

Got a sore foot so going to see the doc later, knowing my luck it will get better before that.

OHs dad...it was so sad last night. I timed him and he is on aloop of about 7-10 minutes. I am checking out homes that take dementia cases today, OHs sister and BIL were there and I blurted out that I thought he should be somewhere with better care, we are trying to push forward with it. Anyway, he kept mentioning his wife who died about 7 years ago and at one point asked where she was, OH was brilliant in telling him, he got so upset when he realised she wasn't around. He didn't bounce back before we left. I hadn't been for a week and it was a shock to see him, I don't think OH and his family are seeing the physical change in his eyes etc as much as they are going more often, I really hope we get him some better care soon

Anyway sorry about all off post stuff...flying

ajmoney that's so sad about your FIL, Dementia is an awful thing, and the deterioration is truly shocking, my MIL's mam was in a home with it, it upset me everytime I went to see her x

Done the dailies at least, but I'm off to work now with a freshly emptied Henry, which meant I had to Hoover up as it went everywhere.

    What's left to do later,
