Everyone send positive vibes to Sexymouse - she'll be starting her observation lesson in a couple of minutes!

    Jx

Definitely! I'll be thinking of her while scrubbing/tidying.

Two HHC next from 11.05, with a short break in between, so I won't post again until I'm sitting down with my lunch. I'm tackling the washing in the first (peg out/sort/put away etc) and making a start on the kitchen in the second. Lunch after that, I think.

The doc wasn't much help although I am not surprised. I have been sent away with painkillers and told to go back in a week if my foot is still sore.

I will fly when I get back from the hairdressers, I am in a CBA mood at the mo.

rosepink sorry hubby having a $hitty evening:rotfl: My hubby booked a week off at half term and spent most of it on the loo unfortunately. Lots of bugs around. Could you hire someone to do your oven for you? My firend swears by her oven man, I am too tight to pay for it but if it will make you feel better and you would struggle then maybe it would be worth the cash. Was a bit worried about your story the other day with the man in council house with 2 millionaire offspring, please dont be taken in, sounds a bit dodgy to me.
I only wish I could get someone to clean my oven for me, but can't afford it at the mo. Will think about it for the future tho, it's a good idea! I think you are right about the man in the council house, I'm sure he was exaggerating at the very least.

Ebay free listing on Sunday for anybody like me who hasn't got as far as putting the stuff on ebay yet :o
Oooh, thanks for that! I will make sure I save some stuff to list on Sunday!

DH is home today, I thought he would be. He's still got a bad belly altho has just had some toast and has got out of bed so maybe he feels a bit better. He's complaining of being cold and the heating is on full pelt so I'm boiling to death! He seems to have a cold as well which is wierd.

I know I should get on with something, but really not in the mood! Might go and clean the bathroom in a bit.

Soappie, I’m sure you will get the job

Sexy, hope things go well, I’m thinking of you, don’t forget we are all behind you cheering you on

Katy, ouch that sounds painful having a cold just after a sinus operation, hope you recover quickly!

Rach, that’s an interesting point about it being an intolerance, I hadn’t thought of that, will have to keep an eye on it

Zoe hope it goes well today in court

Macpep hope your ultrasound goes ok and they can sort out what is giving you pain

Hugs Embb, that sounds very frustrating

Scotrae hope you manage to get your application done, what job is it for?

AJ, hugs, dementia is horrible and very sad to watch

Hugs Lady Liberty kick that BD up the bum! Not the lovely one that lives next door tho! DH sends his love in return

Blo0dy annoyed with myself as I religiously read the entire days posts, made some replies to people and obviously spent too long posting it because it vanished into the ether and I just can't go back and do it all again!
I do that all the time. Or several days later find a massive post with a big list update that I never posted and is now irrelevant
    I also read
    Polish computer
as computer from Poland and was thinking crikey, thats unusual :rotfl:

macpep - welcome aboard we are a lovely if mad bunch and everyone is welcome. good luck at doctors, hope you get the results you want and that the pain is getting better ?

Ishtar my DD1 is 5 on 2nd December, her party is on Sat 5th at home. We are jaut having anbout 10 girls and having traditional party games and making some disco dancing and party tea. What are you doing ? And what are you getting her ? mine is getting a ELC CD player and a disco light :D

sexy - good luck for this morning hun, sending loads of positive vibes your way

Penny - hope DD toe is ok, sounds nasty

aj - so sorry to hear about your OH's Dad, must be so sad for everyone to see him like that

Got them off school again today, DS still not too well and DD who was back yesterday had a bad night last night coughing and gurning about it all night, plus she wet herself at school yesterday so I think maybe she shouldnt have been back. Quite glad to avoid the achool run as it was bucketing down here earlier.
Got my friends wee boy here too so its a bit of a mad house. I am sitting on sofa in the playroom acting as peacekeeper. DD2 in particular is struggling with sharing. Friends wee boy is a wee angel.

So far this morning I have:
    - got up !!!
    - everyone dressed and breakasted
    - cleared up from breakfast
    - emptied DW
    - BM on
    - DW on
    - tidied kitchen
    - rehomed some bits to upstairs
    - sorted out billions of inter-child arguments
    - tidied playroom - need to do it again they have everything out and have no room to actually play

Once my friend collects her boy and we have had lunch DD2 is going to bed and I am going to crack on with the bureau/spare room reshuffle while the other 2 occupy themselves downstairs.
Also want to try and get last bits of sewing done, and wrap M&Ds presents for Mum to take back.
Got a few bits of banking and paperwork to sort out as well, car insurance etc.

DD has been prescribed painkillers and instructions on what to do if she starts to lose the toenail  Luckily DH went with her to take in all the gory details :o
