Nope... it'll go flabby and disgusting.

Make the bolognese in the SC, then make the pasta at the last minute. To be fair, pasta shouldn't take that long once the water's boiled :D

Sounds like you need a break.

Afternoon all. Just back from panto rehearsals, and I am so exhausted. Really think I need to reevaluate all the stuff I am doing as I am constantly tired from all the running here there and everywhere, plus trying to see to the house, kids and OH. But I love all the stuff I do so its going to be a hard decision on what needs to be dropped just to give me a bit extra time, if you know what I mean. :(

Flying has been vituallly none existant this week, a few dailies here and there and the odd HHC. Will be glad when the xmas hols roll around so I can relax for a little while.

Anyhoo, going to try and get SOMETHING done this afternoon, but I dont know where to start. Off to see what needs doing first.

On top of that, I'm in the middle of organising a birthday party for DD, who is 5 two weeks before Christmas (didn't really plan that right did I!!). There are two other children in her class with birthdays around the same time, so it's a joint party and hence a three way process. Hopefully we can get things finalised today.

Rather better than I did... I have 2 which were due new years eve!!!

Pigpen - how old is DS2 - could she ask? My SIL's kids have always approached their Dad themselves since they were teenagers - he always said no if she asked. Similar situation finance wise to u - but poor love was always broke.

She is 12, but I think I'll let her ask.. it is harder to say no to her ;)

    Morning all
OHs dad...it was so sad last night. I timed him and he is on aloop of about 7-10 minutes. I am checking out homes that take dementia cases today, OHs sister and BIL were there and I blurted out that I thought he should be somewhere with better care, we are trying to push forward with it. Anyway, he kept mentioning his wife who died about 7 years ago and at one point asked where she was, OH was brilliant in telling him, he got so upset when he realised she wasn't around. He didn't bounce back before we left. I hadn't been for a week and it was a shock to see him, I don't think OH and his family are seeing the physical change in his eyes etc as much as they are going more often, I really hope we get him some better care soon

Bless him.. I hope you can find him somewhere he will be properly cared for.

  • Afternoon lovelies

Not a bad day here in Herefordshire but will probably rain when im on my way into work GGGrrrrrrrrr.

Last nights meal went ok and BF met the kids and they all got on great!:j Pheww. Mind you playing on the Wii probably helped break the ice then we all watched a movie before kids went to bed. It felt strange but nice cuddling upto someone on the sofa but think I can used to it lol.:rotfl:

Working the late shift today then the early shift Sat and Sun then I have 2 days off :D wooohoooo.

Ive already been and done some shopping and put it away, WM has been on twice and so has the TD and ive managed to iron what needed ironing and have put it away.

Kids did their bedrooms yesterday so todays jobs were easy peasy and only needed to S&S the bathroom, toilet and kitchen so thats all done.

    STAR for Today please Toots
